หนังสือเล่มนี้ถูกตีพิมพ์ตั้งแต่ปี 1986 (อายุกว่า 34 ปีมาแล้ว) และนี่คือหนังสือที่วางขายเฉพาะในญี่ปุ่นอย่าง Super Mario Bros. Side-Story ได้บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของมาริโอ้ที่กำลังจะไปร่วมพิธีแต่งงานของเจ้าหญิงพีช ซึ่งเจ้าบ่าวไม่ใช่มาริโอ้ แต่เป็นเจ้าชายแห่งอาณาจักรมันฝรั่ง ชื่อ อังเดร
