阿比查邦（Apichatpong Weerasethakul）於 #哥倫比亞 拍攝的首部「#非泰語」電影長片《記憶》（#Memoria），甫在今年 #坎城影展 榮獲「#評審團獎」。作者於坎城影展放映後，採訪了阿比查邦。訪談中他談及「#離開泰國」的選擇、本片與舊作的關聯、創作中若即若離的 #佛學觀，以及如何透過 #聲音設計 表達核心思維。因為失眠，不能作夢，科學的身體控制、情感政治、自由與記憶的哲學問題、夢和電影的結構相似性，這些討論都匯聚在女主角找回身心平靜的過程中。

Jury Prize ex-æquo for MEMORIA
“ผมโชคดีที่ได้มายืนอยู่ตรงนี้ ในขณะที่เพื่อนร่วมชาติของผมจำนวนมากเดินทางไม่ได้ หลายคนต้องเผชิญกับความลำบากอย่างสาหัสจากโรคระบาด เพราะความผิดพลาดในการบริหารงานของรัฐ การจัดการทรัพยากร งานสาธารณสุข และการเข้าถึงวัคซีน ผมขอเรียกร้องให้รัฐบาลไทยและรัฐบาลโคลอมเบีย รวมทั้งรัฐบาลประเทศอื่นๆ ที่อยู่ในสถานการณ์เดียวกัน ขอให้ตื่นขึ้นและทำงานเพื่อประชาชนของพวกคุณ เดี๋ยวนี้”
“I am lucky to be standing here, while many of my countrymen cannot travel. Many of them suffer greatly from the pandemic, with the mismanagement of resources, healthcare, and vaccine accessibility. I want to call out for the Thai and Colombian governments, and the governments of countries in a similar situation, to please wake up, and work for your people, now.”
