Im sure many of us would have heard about the Sperm Whale that was found dead with a total of 6kg of plastic waste in its tummy (RIP) and definitely about the island in the middle of the sea thts just plastic waste. Thats just sad!!
Im not asking all of you to go cold turkey on plastic now. I just hope that everyone can do their little bit in changing bits of their lifestyle n habit to start going plastic free!! Pick up plastic waste wherever you see them, recycle, choose products that uses recycle parts or better non plastic at all..
1 good example is what the guys at kens apothecary n Ren is doing. From now till end of the month if you bring any plastic skincare empties into their stores, they have a bin for you to recycle and you shall receive a RM30 e-voucher for your next Ren purchase and with each purchase RM3 will be going to Reef Check in helping them conduct more activities in saving our reefs and waters..
plus i think the Ren body wash is awesome
1) The bottle is made of 20% reclaimed ocean plastic (collected from oceans, rivers, lakes, banks of waterways) and 80% from recycled plastic bottles.
2) The Atlantic Kelp Body Wash is 100% biodegradable and none of the ingredient in it pose a threat to marine life.
