在這三部短片裡，第一部是13分鐘的動畫，由日本導演渡邊信一郎（星際牛仔）製作，讓我想起十多年前的《駭客任務動畫特輯》（The Animatrix），交代科幻歷史的轉捩點，頗有其中《二度文藝復興》的味道；而後兩者都是由雷利．史考特的兒子路克．史考特所執導，前者6分鐘後者5分鐘，各自有傑瑞．里拖和戴夫．巴提斯塔主演，一部是看氣氛，一部應該是為續集的事件鋪路，可以想見質感應該都是逼近續集本身。
由此我們也可以建構出以下資訊：在第一集的事件之後，新一代人造人的生命終於不再被強制設定為有限 → 然而這卻激怒了人類，催化「人類至上主義」的興起，人們開始按照人造人的名冊獵殺他們 → 於是在2022年，人造人策劃了一次事變把所有檔案銷毀，真假人類再也無法分辨 → 這之後官方正式禁止人造人的生產，直到2036年傑瑞．里拖飾演的角色製作出能夠完全聽命於人的新一代人造人 → 12年後，戴夫．巴提斯塔飾演的、自2022年事變後就在躲藏中的人造人，因為見義勇為，而不慎洩露自己的行蹤。
沒猜錯的話，續集仍然是要延續首集討論人類與人造人的人性多寡，人類社會對人造人的未知與恐懼等等議題，當然人造人的自我意志（服從或是活出自己）也希望可以碰觸到。目前《銀翼殺手2049》的國外首波評價已經有耳聞了，似乎頗好，尤其羅傑．迪金斯的攝影美學受到很大的讚賞（！），真心希望這部續集可以很出色啊，畢竟這是我今年剩下唯一期待的兩部電影之一，而且非常希望導演的不敗紀錄可以維持下去～
