Sony 135mm F1.8 GM 登場！

終於如預期的問世了，建議售價 USD 1,900（！），換言之 Sony 家在 FE 系統中終於有一顆繼 SAL 135mm F1.8 ZA 之後的 135mm 定焦皇出現啦XD。身為 135ZA 的前擁有者與昔日的 A 環玩家，對 135GM 推出的心情還真是複雜，其一是我覺得 135ZA 是我在 A 環中最難割捨的鏡頭，其二是 135GM 的出現，某種程度也代表 A 環那大江東去、滄海桑田的歷史感啊....

【那麼，它與 135ZA 有什麼不同？】
除了 ZA 與 GM 的差異，兩顆鏡頭也算是時隔十餘載的不同世代之作了，雖然中望遠定焦的結構大多大同小異，但從光學設計看來 135GM 用了更多鏡片在修正畫質，可以預料的是畫質應該有超水準之上的表現。另一項有感更新應該是在人像拍攝方面，135ZA 仰賴的是機身馬達對焦，搭配 Sony E 環須經過 LA-EA4，對焦表現上是肯定不如新的 135GM 加上眼控 AF 的性能。在體積和重量方面，口徑由 77mm 提升為 82mm，但重量小幅減輕了 45g（995g→950g），令人欣慰的是放大倍率則都一如既往地維持了 0.25x 的規格（這真的超好用的！）

【這顆鏡頭貴嗎？】
嗯......或許可以說它既貴又不貴。在 135mm 這個焦段它有幾個對手：Canon 135mm F2L、Nikon 135mm F2 D、Sigma 135mm F1.8，以及支援自家 E 接環的 Zeiss Batis 135mm F2.8。如果用 C、N 的 135mm 定焦比，那麼 135GM 的售價美金 1,900 也算得上是天價了，但值得注意的是 C、N 已經十幾年沒有更新過這級距的 135mm 定焦，雖然既有的產品線還是有它的經典地位在，但設計上與重視高畫素解像力的新鏡頭還是有一些差異。

如果拿它與新的 Sigma 135mm F1.8、Batis 135mm F2.8 這幾顆相較，135GM 的售價就顯得比較合理一些，姑且不論 Sigma，135GM 的推出最直接影響到的應該就是當初上市價格 2,000 USD 的 Batis 135 了，兩者是口徑 67mm / 82mm、重量 614g / 950g、光圈 F2.8 / F1.8、有防震 / 沒防震的差異，其實有點類似 24GM 與 Batis 25 之間的瑜亮情節，不過由於 Batis 135mm 的在市面上的流通數量相對少，對二手行情的影響可能沒有想像中多。

【講那麼多，Furch 你到底要不要買？】
135GM 對我來說的另一項意義是，它用在高畫素的 A7R3/A7R2 身上開 APS-C 裁切可以有相當於 200mm 的視角（畫素剩下18MP），這樣的焦段其實已經有 Cover 到 FE 70-200mm F2.8 的用途，如果只用白砲拍人像，那 135GM 其實也是個不錯的想法，加上超讚的 0.25x 的放大倍率從 A 環完整繼承。至於會不會買.....老實說是很心動XD，自從拋掉 135ZA 之後就一直想要有一顆 135mm 焦段的神級定焦鏡，可是它的定價也真的是滿高的，如果真的要衝一波，那問題可能要從「要不要買」變成「接下來要賣哪幾顆鏡頭來換」了........嗚嗚嗚嗚嗚

最近 DPReview 發表了三大品牌 Canon、Nikon、Sony 的「最佳鏡頭選購指南」（Buying Guide：Best Lenses），不過這評選結果並非單純以光學素質來判斷好壞，也不會一昧的推薦給大家「鏡皇」，而是還會依據性價比、易攜性、通用性來做考量，同時再加上一點個人偏好，簡單來說有點類似「編輯選」的概念。

在下列清單中，DPReview 除了公布最佳鏡頭之外，也有列出 1～2 項備選以及大致上的理由。他們為 Sony FE 列出的最佳鏡頭有：

【最佳標準變焦】Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G

【最佳定焦】Sony FE 28mm F2
→→備選：Samyang 35 F2.8、Sigma 35 F1.4 Art

嗯...看起來 DPReview 編輯在挑選鏡頭上比較著重「輕便」與「經濟」這兩項，畫質與光學表現反而沒這麼重要，因此這項列表幾乎沒有高階鏡頭入列。

但坦白說這份清單跟我心目中的最佳鏡頭滿不相同的XD，大家怎麼看呢？之後我也會整理我的一份「最佳鏡頭」來試試~~

Canon EOS R 鏡頭將來會怎麼出？
.
在不久前 Canon Rumors 公佈了 EOS R 系統未來的 Roadmap，陸續在明年推出的鏡頭將預計會有這五顆，分別是：

RF 14-24mm f/2.8L USM
RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM
RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
RF 70-135mm f/2L USM
RF 50mm f/1.8 IS STM
.
也就是說，Canon 很有可能在 EOS R 推出後的一年內就陸續補齊 F2.8 大三元鏡頭，而且這個大三元的超廣角端還是 14-24mm F2.8，從這個時程就可看出 EOS R 並不是倉促成軍的新產品線，光學起家的 Canon 鏡頭研發實力依然不容小覷。

比較變態的是除了大三元之外，Canon 想做的似乎更不僅止於此，可能在未來我們會看到恆定光圈 F2 的「超・大三元」出現，例如已經發表的 28-70mm F2.0、預計推出的 70-135mm F2.0，還有將來可能發表、湊齊最後一塊恆定 F2.0 拼圖的超廣變焦。
.
但這件事情其實有點兩難，因為到目前為止，EOS R 都還只是個 3,000 萬畫素、單卡槽的準專業機身，如果能有這麼強悍的光學表現，其實我們會比較希望這些鏡頭能接在可靠性、專業度表現都更好的機身上面。
.
姑且不論 Canon 這批規格驚人的光學怪獸，我想就之前的新鏡頭來說，應該都已經能充分駕馭 3,000 萬畫素的 FF 感光元件，那麼在 3,000 萬畫素的 EOS R 接環上是否應追求更極致的光學表現，這點就值得討論了。

假設我們花費比 DSLR 更高的成本，去追求更大更重、光學表現 100 分的鏡頭，卻只能在 80、90 分的機身上使用，且最終也只能發揮 80、90 分的成績，那這件事就十分可惜了。如果 Canon 想走高階市場（至少從目前的 Roadmap 來看是如此），那麼遲早該為這些高階鏡頭準備更高階的機身才是。

With travel temporarily halted, we decided to explore the hidden gems within Singapore. Join us as we explore Thomson Nature Park, the 50-hectare buffer park unique for its rich cultural heritage as the site of a former Hainan Village. Thomson Nature Park is also home to a rich array of biodiversity and is notably a key conservation site for the critically endangered Raffles’ Banded Langur.

There are five trails within this park: Ruins and Figs Trail (1.50km), Streams and Ferns Trail (1.40km), Rambutan Trail (0.40km), Langur Trail (0.35km), and Macaque Trail (0.15km). Although we weren't fortunate enough to spot the elusive Raffles' Banded Langur on our multiple trips here, we did manage to catch wild boars and plenty of cheeky macaques.

When we read about Beyond Expeditions' Back-to-Basics: Woodcraft & Bushcraft Experience, we knew we had to sign ourselves up!

The day started with a short boat ride to Pulau Ubin, an island off eastern Singapore, where we spent a rejuvenating day away from civilisation. We picked up basic bushcraft (wilderness survival skills) from the super knowledgeable Scott, took turns to saw and chop fallen firewood, learnt some woodcraft from the talented Frederick, and made ourselves a scrumptious aglio olio lunch over open fire.

What a day it was, and what a workout too! We had such a good time we frankly didn't even stop to check our phone once.

What is forest bathing? How is it done, and how is it good for you? In celebration of International Day of Forests 2021, our team made this mini film on an increasing popular form of therapy called forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku. Forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is a wellness practice that started in Japan in the early 1980s.

We invited a bunch of friends to experience this unique activity that’s said to have a vast number of benefits, right here in Singapore. Led by You Min, a certified nature and forest therapy guide from Xiu Nature Connections (@forestbathingsg), here’s how it went.
