He's my baby and my boss!
Yup, judging by how he wails and wakes me several times in the middle of the night, how he demands to be carried, how he protests when I go out of sight, how I need to prepare his every meal, clean him up and bathe him, how he sits back and relaxes while I push or carry him when we are out, there's no doubt that my life revolves around this little boy for now.
Thankfully, he is such a sweetie pie - who can resist that smile? - who makes it all worthwhile. His siblings say the same too because he also makes them tired, haha. Well, we can't wait to catch Boss Baby 2 and other movies in the cinemas soon! Thanks to United International Pictures Singapore for making us so excited and for sending over the goodies, including this yummylicious chocolate cake from @sweehengsg and our first twinning tees too.
The 5yo is also waiting for me to bring him to watch his favourite Paw Patrol movie and I hope to find a weekday to bring him when it's not crowded. We'll keep our masks on at all times and I will tell them to eat before or after the show only.
Hopefully, things will settle in the next few weeks so that we can celebrate the end of exams for the elder ones by watching more movies! Woohoo!
Happy Monday and have a good week ahead! ❤
P.S. Can't wait to be able to visit the vaxxed halls soon too! Yup, I'm partially vaxxed for now, was waiting till the baby started on solids before taking my first dose. Some of you asked if I would be taking it and I said yes, and I continued to latch the baby right after too. Stay safe and take care, everyone!

I’m finally out! Not too happy to celebrate yet, more like i’m living with more contentment and appreciation for life now. 21 days #hotelquarantine has been a lot of time for silence, self-reflection, and self-care. Mostly learning how to take good care of myself, my mind and my body. Maybe it’s okay to feel upset sometimes, lonely at times, unproductive/productive at other times. It’s okay to take small baby steps to get where you want to be, my mom kept telling me. #thxmom❤️
Especially on the third week of hotel quarantine, the feelings really got to me, I brokedown in tears. Once in the morning, second time during my meditation practice. It didn’t feel good at the time but it was a good release. Onto the last week, feeling bad doesn’t change anything in my situation so all I could do was learn to accept, understand those emotions and just let it go. I know that all of you, every one of you have been coping with these 2 years of covid differently, some have lost their jobs, some lost their loved ones, and others just got to do what they can to survive. I have watched enough youtube videos since Day 1 to know, i want to say I understand, I sympathize with you. We are all just doing what we can.
Your stories inspire me to become more positive and grateful for my own situation. That’s the reason I could pick myself back up mentally and physically. #21dayscompleted
I’m glad to say I overcame my fears of the dark, unknown unseeable things, loneliness, restlessness, germs and covid. I’m eating a lot healthier and clean. I also can’t believe i did 6 pcr exams this time coming back from Taiwan🥲👌🏻 We can only do as much as we can and be conscious of what choices we are making. Take care of your loved ones, your family and friends will always be there for you. We are all in this together. From now on, do what’s truly important to you, and don’t be afraid of change, just follow your heart❤️💕💕 #thankyouforallthesupport #thankyouforalltheloveandmessages #youareallamazing #addoileveryone #ihopethiscovidwillbeoversoon #iambackinhongkong #takingalastglimpseofmyhotelroom #congratstome #timetolivemore #ineedtogetsomefreshair #gettingvaccinatedsoon

HELLO I CAN RIDE CLASS 2A BIKES NOW!!! YASSSSS I passed my Class 2A test (for motorbikes from 201cc to 400cc) today, woohoo! Leading up to this I was really nervous and I feel silly about it now, but I'm just glad it's over and done with, phew.
The process for Class 2A is much shorter than 2B. You have 1 theory lesson, 3 simulator sessions, orientation and 3 practical lessons, of which the third lesson is the internal assessment that you have to clear before you're allowed to book the test.
Slots for lessons were quite hard to book and I had to wait a month each for lessons 2 and 3. Then another 6 weeks for the test! I really wanted to pass the test on the first attempt so I spammed revision lessons. It sounds very kiasu but it really helps.
For Class 2A, there is only the circuit component for the test, no road, so the full 18 demerit points allowance is for the circuit. That makes it more forgiving compared to 2B which is 18 points for BOTH circuit and road.
The test route for 2A is largely similar to 2B, except for a different route to the slope, a steeper slope, longer times on the plank and Figure 8, and a bumpy course after the e-brake.
Reported at 645am this morning, did 2 rounds of warmup at 730am, then the testers arrived at 815am. I was #18 so by the time I commenced the test it was around 945am. I was done around 10am but we had to wait for the whole group to finish and then wait for the results.
This was the most painful part because we waited till 12nn for our results. The suspense was killing me so badly!
FINALLY FINALLY they announced the good news and YASSSSS I PASSED!!!
I know it's just a motorbike licence but I worked hard for this, putting in time and effort, so the feeling of accomplishment is great. And in this tough period where there isn't a lot to celebrate, I'm just grateful I am able to complete this goal of mine.
Thank you @thehuangergames for the encouragement and the lifts to school, thank you to the instructors for pulling OT to give us more lesson slots and thank you Traffic Police for opening more test slots!

Hubby surprised me with a weekend getaway in Newport Beach with a few of my good friends for my 34th Birthday. Very shocked but too tired to react because of this pregnancy. Everything just slips my mind and doesn’t register but I am very thankful for everyone who came to celebrate my birthday. Very chill day and good times hanging out having a blast as always.

Allen Iverson earned a bit of immortality last night in the Gund Arena. Playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers and starting poorly before finishing gloriously, Iverson scored a career-high 50 points to become the only rookie ever to score 40 or more points in four consecutive NBA games.
Iverson broke the mark previously held by another Philadelphia rookie named Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 40 or more in three straight games on three different occasions in 1959-60.
The shot that broke the record came with 3 minutes, 37 seconds to play in the 125-118 loss, with the Sixers down by 10 points. It capped a stunning second-half performance by Iverson, whose record-breaking shot was his 11th bucket of the half. Iverson finished 13 of 17 from the field in the second half while scoring 39 points.
``He put on a magnificent display,'' said Cleveland coach Mike Fratello.
When Sixers center Michael Cage was told of the overwhelming accumulation of numbers Iverson put up in the second half, he simply said, ``Wow.''
As the game, another Sixers loss, ended, the 20,009 in the Gund Arena rose from their seats to give Iverson a cheering ovation and Fratello pulled the rookie to the sidelines and whispered in his ear.
``Those things are personal,'' Iverson said when asked what he was told. ``But he told me to keep my head up, to not pay attention to what you guys write about me, to keep playing basketball, doing what I love.''
In the last five games, Iverson has scored 210 points. The Sixers have lost their last seven.
Despite all Iverson could do, in a strange, physical, poorly officiated game, the Sixers lost again. Despite shaving the Cavs' lead to seven three times in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia dropped its 57th decision of the season.
As it was in Friday's loss to Milwaukee - and as it probably will be in the season's five remaining games - the Sixers' defense was the definition of porous. The most points the deliberate, low-scoring Cavs had previously scored in a game this season was 108.
But in this sad-sack season, which winds to a close Saturday in Atlanta, there have been few reasons for the Sixers to celebrate. Last night, as Iverson played his fifth consecutive game of more than 40 minutes and performed as if he were only growing stronger with each passing moment, there was one moment well worth celebrating. And those who played with him will remember.
``Other than Michael Jordan, no,'' said Sixer Frankie King when asked if he had ever witnessed a performance like Iverson's. ``You see why that man was drafted No. 1. He caught fire.
``That was the first of something great for the future, whether Allen Iverson plays in Philadelphia or somewhere else. Allen Iverson is a ballplayer. I'm on this team and I enjoy watching him pay. I would actually pay to see him play.''
It looked early in the game as if Iverson, who had only 11 in the first half while hitting four of 14 shots, might have run out his string. But as the game heated up, so did he. And by the time he finished his scoring with a rash of fantastic plays, seemingly held back in the late going only by several inexplicable calls from the officials, the crowd was cheering him on.
Iverson's 50 points were a Gund record. His 39 second-half points were also a record for the arena.
``I knew I had a chance to break the record, but I didn't want to come into the game thinking totally about breaking that record,'' Iverson said. ``If I got that record, I wanted to get it within what we were trying to do and not try to do too much.
``What shocked me was my teammates' whole response to it; they felt good for me doing that and they felt good for being a part of it. I think, with all that, that was the most special thing to me.''
The cheers of the Cleveland fans, as much as anything, seemed to stun Iverson, who was booed in this very arena in February when he played in the NBA rookie all-star game.
``I didn't ever expect for somebody to be cheering me in Cleveland,'' he said. ``Especially after what they did to me in the rookie all-star game.''
