End for ending the ⚓️⚓️anchor cable is usually done by shipyards/during drydock (switching the bitter end to the front, at the kenter shackle of anchor)
Here onboard YWAM PNG, we had the expertise, manpower and willpower😎 to give it a shot, and with some trial and error😆 successfully end for ended both anchors
Took weeks of planning and brain storm and 3 days of labour to finish the job 💪💪 @ Papua New Guinea
We lowered the anchor to below the water line, secured it to a mooring rope so it takes the weight. Break the kenter shackle and pass the chain back up the hawsepipe, secure that end (eventually becomes the new bitter end) Pay out whole length of cable to sea bed (15meter depth) until bitter end, secure the weight of chain with another mooring rope then free the bitter end which is dropped into the water and join with a new first kenter shackle to the anchor (remember that the anchor is still hanging off a mooring rope at water line which we can reach with our small 🚤 boat)
Lastly secure the new bitter end and heave in the chain until it takes the weight off mooring rope, so we can untie the rope from the anchor. Anchor home. .

When I was younger, Army Daze (the movie) made me want to join the army. Hahaha i think mostly because those guys were so damn lovable. So happy to be able to be a part of Army Daze 2 where they've grown up; Malcolm Png is now an SAF regular, serving as Director of Public Affairs, Teo Ah Beng is an entrepreneur, while Johari Salleh runs a fast-food chain serving ayam penyet. Style-meister Kenny Pereira has become a sought-after interior designer, and former slacker Krishnamoorthi is now a successful architect. But they are still as nonsense as ever!!! They get reunited in this show and I feel like ive been reunited with some of my favourite characters!! 4 aug-20 aug, tickets on sistic, come for lots of laughs!!! And @michael_chiang_playthings, congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Army DaZe!!!! 😍😍😍
