We die die must tell you this! 我们死都要讲!
We would like to invite you to join in the Die Die Must Say <http://www.lienfoundation.org/pdf/news/2014/DDMS%20Press%20Release%206May2014FINAL.pdf> 《死都要讲》campaign – an island wide effort to urge everyone, especially older Chinese Singaporeans, to talk about living, death and dying, and what matters at the end of life.
The Lien Foundation <http://www.lienfoundation.org> and Ang Chin Moh Foundation <http://www.acmfoundation.sg> have teamed up to launch a wave of five getai shows starting May 11. Through songs, dance and humor, popular artistes Wang Lei and Lin Ruping will host the Die Die Must Say getais to talk about death, raise awareness of end-of-life issues and educate the public about hospice palliative care.

And if you want to have someone talk to, simply call the dedicated Mandarin hotline - 1800 3535 800 that’s open daily from 10am to 10pm (except on public holidays).
Trained volunteer counselors from Care Corner <http://www.carecorner.org.sg/cccc.html> , a voluntary welfare organization, will be at hand to answer questions about death and dying, hospice palliative care or assist with concerns regarding the end of life.
The getai locations are:
1) Chinatown Kreta Ayer Square (Behind Buddha Tooth Relic Temple) on Sunday 11 May, 7pm
2) Tampines Community Square (Next to the Tampines MRT) on Friday 16 May, 7pm
3) Blk 336 Woodlands St 32 on Sunday 25 May, 7pm
4) Large field at Blk 367 Yung An Road on Wednesday 4 June, 7pm
Read the Shin Min Daily on the day of each getai to find out the kind of concerns that death and dying could bring. Learn from counsellors, doctors and social workers on how to deal with life’s final chapter.
Over the next five weeks, tune in to Capital FM95.8 every Friday from 10am to 11am, to ‘die-logue’ and discuss about end-of-life issues or learn more about hospice palliative care.
