What is “Cake Jai”
The Walnut Cake from “Pui Kei” is an iconic macau classic in past four decades. The “Cake Jai” (means little cake) is freshly roasted at 10am in the morning. The cake is moist and dense inside with a crispy mouthfeel in the initial bite. “It’s all about the temperature control and experience.” Owner of Pui Kei said with a smile.

The most important part of the Chinese Mid-Autumn festival is the family reunion. 🏠👨👩👧👨👩👧👦👨👩👧We get together to enjoy the🌕 bright moon, holiday activities, special foods🥮. It's believed that the moon is symbolic of family togetherness. To talk about the Mooncakes🥮, which are the official Mid-Autumn Festival holiday treat. The typical mooncake is made from wheat flour and stuffed with sugary or salty fillings such as sweetened red bean paste or salted egg yolk🥚.

Yum cha (飲茶) means "drink tea" in Cantonese, is also synonymous with dim sum. As a Cantonese, I like the tradition of enjoying tea with dim sum.

In Cantonese-speaking regions, yum cha is described as 一盅兩件 (literally "one cup accompanied by two pieces",Lol), in which "cup" refers to tea(comes with teapot), while "two pieces" refers to pieces of dim sum. (considered as Chinese brunch) Typically, it's common that people would order much more than two dishes during yum cha. What's your favorite dim sum? Mine is rice noodle roll and Har gow.
