R-chord and MJ116/E.so' s epic track, "蘋果".
There's this weird thing I have with producing songs that we're originally done by other producers. In this case, the original song was co-written by 梯依恩TeN. But since I was doing R.Chord's entire album, I ended up producing this song as well. And producing other producer's songs is really nerve-wracking for me. I want to do the song justice. I also want to a job that the original writer's will enjoy. I also want to the song in a way that I'm happy with it. So there's a lot of pressure that I give myself.
The demo was over 10 years old, but it was still great! So I started off just copying what 梯依恩 had done on the demo 10 years ago, and slowly added a few new elements to it like the strings. The only big change I made from the demo was E.So's rap part. I made it super heavy and rock. I wasn't sure if E.So was gonna be down rapping over the heavy rock part but.... He MURDERED it!! I've never heard rapping like that in my life. I'm desperately trying to work with E.So again on whatever. Even if it's just making a demo that never gets released. I'll just listen to it. I'm a huge fan.
And the video is done by one of my favorite directors at SPAN Studio! He creates these amazing world's inside the computer... Pure genius!
