章魚湯益氣養血
韓國人喜歡吃活章魚,日本人愛吃章魚丸,廣東人則喜歡用章魚乾煲湯,最常見的材料配搭有節瓜和綠豆,煲出來的湯水味道濃郁好喝。從中醫角度來看,章魚性寒,有益氣養血的功效,適合氣血兩虛人士食用,對女性產後氣血虧損、乳汁不足,男性強精養氣都有幫助。節瓜又名小冬瓜,但不似冬瓜般寒涼,屬性平和,具利水消腫、健脾益胃之效。而綠豆有清熱解毒、消暑祛濕的作用。所以這款湯水能清熱解毒、養血滋陰。
食材小貼士:
陳皮性溫,能理氣健脾、祛濕化痰。能紓緩寒痰、胃脘脹滿、肚瀉、孕婦及宿醉人士的作悶欲吐等。
節瓜章魚綠豆湯
功效:清熱解毒、養血滋陰,紓緩因為壓力大而睡不安寧、疲倦等症狀。
材料:節瓜2-3個、紅蘿蔔2根、章魚乾1塊、綠豆30克、黃豆30克、蜜棗2枚、陳皮1角
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,節瓜及紅蘿蔔去皮切塊;章魚乾泡水至軟身備用。
2. 鍋中加入2000毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1.5小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Octopus soup can nourish qi and blood
Koreans enjoy eating live octopus, Japanese like takoyaki (octopus ball), and the Cantonese loves making dried octopus soup. The other common ingredients that would go into the same pot are hairy gourd and mung bean, as they would enrich the flavor of the soup.
From the perspective of Chinese Medicine, octopus is cold in nature, and it nourishes qi and blood. Hence, it is suitable for individuals with asthenic qi and blood. Eating octopus is also good for women who experience blood and qi deficiency after giving birth, mothers with low milk supply, and men who wish to strengthen their qi and essence.
Hairy gourd is not as cool as winter gourd because it is mild in nature. The former induces urination, relieves edema, and strengthens the spleen and stomach. Mung bean, on the other hand, clears heat and toxins, dissipates the summer-heat, and dispels dampness from the body. Therefore, this particular soup can flush out the heat and toxins from the body and nourish the yin and the blood.
Tips on ingredient:
Dried citrus peel is warm in nature; can improve qi circulation and strengthen the spleen, dispel dampness and clear phlegm; relieve phlegm caused by cold, bloating, as well the nauseous feeling pregnant women and individuals who get hangovers would experience.
Hairy gourd and octopus soup with mung bean
Effects: Clears heat and detoxifies, nourishes blood yin. It can relieve symptoms such as itchy skin and insomnia.
Ingredients: 2-3 hairy gourd, 2 carrot, 1 piece dried octopus, 30g mung bean, 30g soya bean, 2 candied dates, 1 dried citrus peel
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel and cut hairy gourd and carrot into pieces. Soak dried octopus in water until softened.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2000ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add salt to taste.

偏熱人士
症狀:喉嚨痛、口瘡、暗瘡、尿少色黃、大便偏乾硬/便秘
宜選瓜類:苦瓜、節瓜、絲瓜、木瓜
濕重人士
症狀:渴睡、容易出汗,胸悶、無食慾、水腫、大便稀爛甚至黏廁所

材料:佛手瓜2個、粟米連鬚2根、紅蘿蔔1根、蓮子40克、百合20克、蜜棗2枚
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,佛手瓜去皮切塊;粟米連鬚去衣切段;紅蘿蔔去皮切塊備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Gourd-based soups
Hong Kong people like to drink soup to maintain our general wellbeing. To make ourselves a pot of delicious and healthy soup, we can choose the most suitable ingredients and Chinese medicines based on the season and our body constitution.
If you have neither the experience in cooking nor the confidence in making a pot of soup, try starting with a simple gourd-based soup. Choose the gourd (or melon) based on your body constitution and add in corn and carrot to sweeten the soup.
To make the soup more flavorful, you can add meat or beans such as soybean and kidney beans or nuts such as cashew, walnut, and chestnut.
🔥 Individuals with heat in the body
Symptoms: sore throat, mouth sores, acne, yellowish urine, dry and hard stools/constipation
Melon choice: bitter gourd, hairy gourd, loofah, papaya
💦 Individuals with accumulated dampness in the body
Symptoms: a person has had enough hours of sleep but still experiences fatigue, sweat easily, chest tightness, poor appetite, water retention problem, and produces loose stools that stick to the toilet bowl.
Melon choice: winter gourd, old cucumber, loofah, hairy gourd
🤯 Individuals with lots of pressure
Symptoms: feeling emotional, frequently sighing, hypochondrium distension, breast swelling, belching and constipation
Melon choice: chayote, loofah, papaya, cantaloupe
❄️ Individuals of aversion to cold
Symptoms: cold limbs and body, excessive sleepiness, excessive sweating, high volume of urine, loose stool or stool with undigested food
Melon choice: pumpkin
Chayote and corn soup with lotus seed and lily bulb
Effects: clears the heart and calms the mind, relieves symptoms such as poor sleep quality and fatigue.
Ingredients: 2 chayote, 2 ears of corn with silk, 1 carrot, 40g lotus seed, 20g lily bulb, 2 candied dates
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Peel the chayote and slice into pieces. Remove husks from corn keeping the silk and cut into pieces. Peel the carrot and cut into pieces.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.

Everyday is just like any other day
It can be stressful for all of us
Especially the little Ones
Some tips to stay positive during these times .
1. Jot down things to do
Many things can be done that you never have the time before .
For me I’m able to write 3 Books and more coming .
2. Learn to Cook
Many Recipes can be tried out during these times . It’s a good way to test your Culinary Skills .
3. Try Painting
Art is a great way to ease the mind . Get a Canvas at start doing your masterpiece.
4. Reading
We never have the time to read . Buy some motivational , autobiography , sci-fi Books . You will soon feel much better .
5. Change the routine
Plan something that is out of the Box with the family . Camping in the garden or play board games together .
6. Watch a Movie
Have a night watching movies together at home . Get your pillows and blankets on the Sofa with a home made popcorn . The kids would love them .
7. Sleep with your kids
The family sleeping together in one Bedroom. For old times sake . The kids would love it .
8. Get a Haircut
It’s okay to cut your kids hair even though the results are disastrous . It will soon grow once School reopens . Not sure when that would be .
Mental Health is the biggest problem during these pandemic .
Identify them
Talk to your loved Ones for support .
Get help
With new cases rising up to 20K a day , it’s terrifying .
Get vaccinated Everyone

Đây là lần đầu up một video mà nó hơi personal như này nên mình cũng suy nghĩ khá nhiều :( Nhưng mình nghĩ là sẽ có rất nhiều bạn đang gặp một trường hợp tương tự như mình. Có thể là không mất connection nhưng lại mất đi một thứ gì đó còn quan trọng hơn.
Khó nói, khó tả quá nhưng mình không biết những ý mà mình muốn nói có được chia sẻ có rõ trong video không nữa :(
Hôm trước mình có đọc được câu này: “Feeling disconnected from people you used to see regularly? For many of us, this past year was filled with isolation. Despite technological advances, we watched relationships crumble, change and drift apart - and we grieved the loss.”
Năm trước chắc chắn là một năm mà ai cũng gặp nhiều khó khăn để gặp người thương, người thân yêu của họ… Nhưng đọc xong câu trên, thì mình lại nhận ra thêm điều nữa rằng: Chẳng phải chỉ có năm vừa rồi, mà khi tuổi của mình càng lớn, công việc càng nhiều thì mình lại càng vô tình quên mất dành thời gian cho những người xung quanh. Kiểu cảm giác cứ nghĩ tới tương lai nhiều quá mà quên đi thực tại ấy.
Mà năm vừa rồi như vậy nên càng khó để connect với mọi người hơn… T_T
Và đối với cá nhân mình thì những sự connect với người xung quanh mình này chính là lí do chính để mà mình làm tất cả mọi việc trong cuộc sống mình. Mà giờ mình lại mất đi những connection này… Điều này cũng khiến mình quên đi mọi lí do ban đầu luôn! Bạn nào ở đây mà theo đạo giống mình thì chắc cũng sẽ hiểu là khi mình có cảm giác mất đi connection với Chúa thì cảm giác của mình sẽ tệ như nào mà ấy.. TT___TT
Và có thể, bạn cũng là một trong những connection mà một người nào ấy từng rất thân khác đã quên và đang dần đánh mất. Nhưng mà mình biết rằng Chúa luôn ở đấy, cũng như bạn cũng luôn ở đấy chờ họ, gia đình vẫn luôn ở đấy, bạn bè của chúng mình vẫn luôn ở đấy. Mình tin rằng nếu chúng mình biết cách, thì mọi thứ sẽ lại ổn thôi. Tất nhiên là không có gì sẽ ở đấy mãi mãi cả và mình chắc chắn sẽ thay đổi nhiều hơn nữa để không mất đi những thứ quan trọng này.
