Please join us is giving a big congratulations to the Taiwan delegation to the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit - Hsiao-Mei, Tammy, Li-Ying, and Vivia! These four Taiwan female entrepreneurs are doing fabulous work to use IoT to improve fire safety, promote energy efficiency, advise startups on legal issues, and facilitate angel investment to startups. AIT was delighted to support their participation at the Summit this year. Reflecting on the Summit that just concluded in India, they said it was “incredibly amazing to get connected with all these beautiful and talented minds from around the world.” This was the first year that the Global Entrepreneurship Summit was hosted in South Asia and the first time women comprised the majority of the participants. Tammy Hu and Hsiao Mei Lin are two female social entrepreneurs who will represent Taiwan at the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit next week in India. Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social, cultural, and environmental challenges. Tammy Hu’s company DOMI EARTH promotes environmental sustainability by developing ways to improve energy consumption and Hsiao Mei Lin’s HEX company promotes innovative solution to improve building safety.
