茲卡病毒及登革熱防治 How to avoid Zika Virus & dengue fever
目前東南亞、南亞、中南美洲暨加勒比海地區、非洲等為登革熱、瘧疾、屈公病及茲卡病毒感染症等蟲媒傳染病流行地區。建議離開流行地區後請1個月內應暫緩捐血，6個月內男女無論有無症狀，都應採取安全性行為及延後懷孕。
衛保組提醒來（返）臺人員於入境後應自主健康監測14天，如出現發燒、頭痛、後眼窩痛、肌肉關節痛、出疹等症狀，應儘速就醫，並主動告知醫師旅遊史。
Lately, regions such as South East Asia, South Asia, South America, and Caribbean have been prevailed with vector-borne diseases including dengue fever, malaria, Chikungunya fever, and Zika virus. It is advised that blood donation should be avoided within one month of departure from such regions.
Men and women who have traveled to or live in an area of active Zika transmission in the past six months should use a condom every time
they have a sexual behavior whether they have symptoms and avoid pregnancy.
Division of Health Services reminds individuals to self-monitor their health condition for 14 days upon arrival at Taiwan border.
If the aforementioned symptoms such as fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, and a rash develop after returning to Taiwan,
seek immediate medical attention. Moreover, please inform the physician of the recent travel and exposure history to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
禽流感防治How to avoid H5N6 bird flu
因應國內H5N6高病原性禽流感疫情，預防禽流感，應遵守「5要6不」原則，「5要」：禽肉及蛋要熟食、要以肥皂澈底洗手、出現症狀，要戴口罩速就醫並告知職業及接觸史、與禽鳥長期接觸者要接種流感疫苗、要均衡飲食及適當運動；「6不」：不生食禽鳥蛋類或製品、不走私及購買來路不明禽鳥肉品、不接觸或餵食候鳥及禽鳥、不野放及隨意丟棄禽鳥、不將飼養禽鳥與其他禽畜混居、不去空氣不流通或人潮壅擠的場所。
In response to the outbreak of H5N6 bird flu infection, the below guideline of “5 do, 6 don’t ”should be followed.
Five Do: Consume only cooked poultry and eggs. Washing hands with soap.
if the aforementioned symptoms develop put on a surgical mask and seek immediate medical attention. Moreover,
inform the physician of the recent travel and exposure history to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
Request vaccine for individuals who have long term exposure to birds. Maintain healthy diet and exercise.
Six Don’t: Do not consume raw poultry and eggs. Do not purchase poultry from unreliable sources.
Do not contact, feed, and abandon wild birds. Do not mix-breeding pets with other birds. Do not enter or stay in overcrowded public area.
