星期六在 Point Reyes 的第二站來到了 Chimney Rock Trail
本來想要先去 Point Reyes Lighthouse 的步道
結果雖然燈塔沒開但是步道外的停車場整個爆滿
再加上這一面靠外海霧氣比較重
就先開到另外一頭的 Chimney Rock Trail。
這段 Chimney Rock Road 是雙向的車道
不過寬度就是正常一線道的寬度
所以需要會車的話需要盡量貼道路兩邊。
Chimney Rock Trail 步道長度為 1.9 英里
爬升是 269 英尺
整條步道都可以看到壯觀的 Drakes Bay 海景
這條步道也是觀看野花的絕佳步道。
步道一開始可以看到在沙灘上的船塢 Lifeboat Station
是國家歷史地標。
大約 20 分鐘就可以走到步道的盡頭 Chimney Rock
往下看海灘可以看到幾隻象鼻海豹在沙灘上曬太陽
時不時叫幾聲。
