〈先生，可否請…〉改編自馬克‧吐溫的《王子與乞丐》，有一次王子愛德華與乞丐湯姆相遇了，發現彼此長得很像，於是決定交換衣服、交換了身份、和彼此截然不同的生活。
展場刻意設計成雙畫面呈現，營造王子愛德華與乞丐湯姆面對面對話的情境，讓觀者在觀看作品時似乎也身處其中，成為角色之一，十分有趣！
另外，作品中所有的角色都是藝術家本人扮演，人物對白剪接自電影、電視和廣播的聲音片段，並以綠幕和電腦後製技術完成，雖是以童話故事為基礎，卻使用有些諷刺、荒誕和幽默的方式來呈現社會階級等議題。
瑞秋‧麥克林1987年生於英國愛丁堡，畢業於愛丁堡藝術學院，2017年代表蘇格蘭參加威尼斯雙年展，是一名風格極為強烈的錄像藝術家。
The work〈Please, Sir…〉is adapted from Mark Twain’s〈The Prince and the Pauper〉by the artist, Rachel Maclean. Through the deliberate dual-monitor installation, the audience place themselves into the conversation between Prince Edward VI and Tom the Pauper, which becomes a very intriguing situation.
The artist played all the characters in her artworks. To edit the
dialogues extracted from movie clips, TV shows and audio program fragments, Rachel Maclean applies the green screen shooting and post-editing in computer, exposing social issues like class society with an ironic, absurd humor while based on a fairy tale.
