Good morning!
We are on a little adventure just outside of town and Ella Grace found a little cardboard stick on the way out this morning.
So far it’s been a phone, tv, popsicle, shoe, knife, apple, bujibajababa, kitty cat, and we still have about 20 more minutes to our ride with infinite possibilities! 😂😅
One of the most frequent questions I get is to recommend travel toys and activities (which I loooooveee!!) but I also wanted to highlight your little one’s imagination and creativity!
Children see the world so differently and have an innate ability to explore, a deep curiousity to learn which is why play is so important to their development.
What we see as just goofing off, “boredom”, pointless open-ended play is really them learning how the world works, observation environmental learning that teaches them far more than a workbook ever will.
So basically, don’t stress mama. Let them play with cardboard sticks and rocks, paper leaflets and their fingers, you don’t have to buy the latest and the greatest and the fanciest.
You just need to be present and enjoy all the cuddles and giggles!
