Maskne (mask acne) got me back into exploring the world of skincare acids, in hopes to up my exfoliation game without the need for abrasive physical exfoliators.

Recently added these two into my skincare regime (not to be used together though!): @philosophy Renewed Hope In A Jar and @psaskin Goals Multi Acids & Probiotics Perfecting Night Serum. Philosophy doesn’t need further introduction. This moisturiser suits my combination skin and is gentle enough for daily use in spite of the presence of glycolic acid. Works best when I layer on top of other hydrating serums.

Purposeful Skincare by Allies (PSA), younger sister of @alliesofskin : a clean, effective, positive skincare brand targeting at millenials and Gen Z.
Impressed with their colourful minimalist packaging and innovative formulas made with clinically proven actives, without triggering additives. Personally, I use PSA Goals only three times a week because it can be a little harsh for skins not accustomed to facial acids yet. Glad I hung on a while coz it eventually worked for me in reducing breakouts, dark spots, shrink pore size! Happy to wake up to brighter skin when this serum was used the night before.
