The Plot to Make you Feel Separated from God’s Love
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39 WEB)
The apostle Paul taught us a powerful truth. When bad things happen to you, it doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love you anymore.
The devil uses this lie. When you are going through difficulties, he tries to trick you into believing that God is angry with you and is punishing you.
When you feel separated from God’s love, you can’t have faith because your heart will be full of fear and doubt.
After all, if God is against you, then who can successful overturn His decision and power?
If you’re being attacked, sick, or broke, it doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love you. His love is independent of what happens to you.
God’s love is not a rollercoaster ride where it’s sometimes up and sometimes down. His love is a stable rock—an unshakable foundation you can plant both feet firmly upon.
As you’re a member of the body of Christ, God the Father loves you just as much as He loves Jesus.
He is not angry with you at all because His wrath against your sins was already fully appeased at the cross when Jesus was punished on your behalf.
Some people don’t think that love is powerful. They see it as weakness. But believing that nothing can ever separate you from God’s love is the key to accessing faith in every situation.
Even after a grievous failure, you are not separated from His love. His favor still flows abundantly in your life. Don’t cut yourself off from that supply through self-condemnation and doubt. You can still receive grace in your time of need!

“Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous. Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied...I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.” (Psalms 37:16-19, 25 WEB)
In this time of evil you shall not be disappointed and in these days of financial famine, you shall be SATISFIED!
You may be feeling worried about provision now that the economy isn’t looking so well, but your source of blessing is neither the economy, nor the government.
Yahweh Yireh—Jesus, is your Provider.
Jesus Himself UPHOLDS you. He knows your days ahead and knows that you will survive this crisis and be able to testify of His goodness.
As a king, David had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Yet he said that in his whole life he’s never seen God forsake the righteous (those who have faith in Yahweh). That’s assuring and comforting!
Jesus will never abandon you or your children to be starving without provision. You will never need to beg because Jesus will make sure you’re fed!
“Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for He has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.” So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”” (Hebrews 13:5-6 WEB)
Don’t be afraid. Jesus is your Helper. If He helps you, then no virus, economic downturn, nor devil can prevent you from enjoying His blessings.
Be bold with your faith. Even expect to prosper financially as you continue to be generous to those in need and loving during this time.
People need the help and the assurance that there’s still hope in this world.
If God could direct the fish with the silver coin in its mouth to be caught by Peter, then He knows how to cause His blessings to pursue you and reach your hands.
Just release your faith and say “I don’t need to worry about this financial famine. My Lord Jesus will surely feed me and His blessings will locate me. I will stay restful and at peace because Jesus is my Helper who upholds and satisfies me! Amen.”

“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.” (Luke 23:34 WEB)
While Jesus was in pain and suspended on the cross, He pleaded for the Father to forgive everyone who played a part in putting Him on the cross.
He invoked the Law of Unintentional Sin under the Law, to reduce the severity of their sins.
According to that law in Leviticus 4-5, sin committed in ignorance is less grievous than a deliberate sin and can be forgiven through a sin offering.
“Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If anyone sins unintentionally, in any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and does any one of them: if the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without defect to Yahweh for a sin offering. He shall bring the bull to the door of the Tent of Meeting before Yahweh; and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull, and kill the bull before Yahweh.” (Leviticus 4:1-4 WEB)
Dear brethren, if Jesus was pleading mercy for the very ones who crucified Him and using all ways to mitigate their sentence, don’t you think that He’s forgiven you and is surely on your side—you, a child of God who has placed your faith in Him?
Let the following beautiful words give you assurance that God the Father and Jesus are both for you, not against you.
“What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:31-39 WEB)
Abba Father loves you, justified you and has given you all things through Jesus’ finished work at the cross.
Jesus is sitting at His right hand, praying for you, helping you navigate all troubles in life.
If you have the wrong belief that God is out to punish you for your sins (which He already forgave you for) or is planning evil against you and your family to execute justice, that is the work of the devil who is lying to you in God’s name.
The devil wants you to think that God is angry with you because a believer who believes that God loves him/her is unshakable.
God’s love is your strength to overcome all things. His perfect and unchanging love for you—not your flimsy love for Him.
Say this to yourself: “Abba Father always loves me, Jesus is always for me, the Holy Spirit is always with me.”
If the triune God is always for you, nothing can come against you and win. Have a blessed and victorious day!
