I can’t get over them!

I keep crying every time I watch their videos. I feel the pride and joy in the videos of people cheering for them.

I can’t get over their strength, tenacity, and exceptional mental fortitude. I can only imagine the years and years of painstaking practice they have had to go through.

Hidilyn Diaz 🇵🇭 and Edgar Cheung Ka Long 🇭🇰, what shining examples of grit and resilience you give! 💪🏼

Hidilyn, you personify grace and courage. You have achieved more than just the historic win; By your example, you are giving Filipinas the confidence to envision themselves as truly strong women— and the permission to celebrate that strength.

Ka Long, I truly admire how humble you are. You’ve shared how you felt like a “nobody” amidst the other olympians… but by not being afraid to be vulnerable, you’ve shown how strong you can truly be.

Okay, I’ll stop here, because I just might cry again 🙈

So many more inspiring moments in the #Tokyo2020 Olympics. So much to learn from so many amazing athletes. Such a good feeling to end this day with ✨

El Legislativo aprueba el Tratado de Asistencia Legal Mutua con Belice

• El Ministerio de Justicia 法務部
• Crimen transfronterizo 跨國犯罪
> El Yuan Legislativo ha aprobado este día 4 el Tratado de Asistencia Legal Mutua con el país aliado diplomático de Belice. El Ministerio de Justicia ha declarado que este acuerdo es muy importante y significativo para los esfuerzos de Taiwán en su contribución a la lucha contra el crimen transfronterizo en todo el mundo.


• Términos (條約等的) 條件
• Entrar en vigor 開始生效
• Contar con 擁有
• Llevar a cabo 實現, 完成
> Según los términos de este tratado, a partir de su entrada en vigor, Taiwán y Belice contarán con una base legal para llevar a cabo investigaciones conjuntas y planes para la revisión de casos y prevención del crimen transfronterizo. También se prevé cooperación entre los distintos órganos judiciales para el seguimiento de casos y procesos penales.

> El vicepresidente del Yuan Legislativo, Tsai Chi-chang, anunciaba así el resultado de la votación: “Este tratado ha sido revisado en su título y en todos sus artículos. Según el reglamento y los procedimientos previstos por esta asamblea, el Tratado de Asistencia Legal Mutua firmado por los gobiernos de la República de China (Taiwán) y Belice ha sido aprobado”.

> Este acuerdo es el séptimo que Taiwán firma con otro país. En los últimos años se han firmado acuerdos similares con EE. UU., China continental, Filipinas, Sudáfrica, Polonia y Nauru
