เมือง Liverpool เป็นเมืองที่ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของอังกฤษ
ก่อตั้งขึ้นมาตั้งแต่ปี 1207 หรือเมื่อ 812 ปีมาแล้ว

ความรุ่งเรืองของเมือง Liverpool เกิดขึ้นเนื่องจากการเป็นเมืองท่าสำคัญของประเทศ
ช่วงศตวรรษที่ 18 เมือง Liverpool มีการติดต่อค้าขายกับแคริบเบียน ไอร์แลนด์ และหลายประเทศในยุโรป

รวมทั้งเป็นเมืองท่าสำหรับการค้าทาสข้ามมหาสมุทรแอตแลนติกเพื่อส่งไปยังสหรัฐอเมริกา

ด้วยความที่เป็นเมืองท่า ทำให้คนในเมือง Liverpool มีความแตกต่างกันทางเชื้อชาติ และคนในเมืองนี้มักถูกเรียกว่า สเกาเซอร์ (Scouser) โดยคำว่าสเกาส์ (Scouse) หมายถึงอาหารท้องถิ่นที่เป็นสตูนั่นเอง

การปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรมของอังกฤษในช่วงระหว่างปี 1760-1830 ทำให้อุตสาหกรรมท่าเรือพาณิชย์ของ Liverpool มีการเติบโตอย่างมาก แม้แต่ The White Star Line เจ้าของเรือไททานิกที่โด่งดังก็มีจุดกำเนิดมาจากเมือง Liverpool

ถึงแม้ว่าในปัจจุบัน อุตสาหกรรมท่าเรือก็ยังมีอยู่ แต่อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวได้เติบโตขึ้นมาก และทำให้เมือง Liverpool เป็นเมืองที่มีคนมาท่องเที่ยวมากที่สุดลำดับที่ 4 ในสหราชอาณาจักร

ในปี 2017 มีนักท่องเที่ยวมาที่เมือง Liverpool 839,000 คน ขณะที่อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวสร้างรายได้ให้แก่เมืองกว่า 172,000 ล้านบาท

ทำให้สนามบิน Liverpool John Lennon เป็นหนึ่งในสนามบินที่มีเที่ยวบินขึ้นลงมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่ง

ปี 1997 จำนวนผู้โดยสารที่มาใช้บริการสนามบิน Liverpool John Lennon เท่ากับ 0.7 ล้านคน
ปี 2018 จำนวนผู้โดยสารที่มาใช้บริการสนามบิน Liverpool John Lennon เท่ากับ 5 ล้านคน

ห่างออกไปทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือประมาณ 57 กิโลเมตร
เมืองที่กำเนิดขึ้นก่อน Liverpool มีมาตั้งแต่ช่วง 79 ปีหลังคริสตกาล
เมืองนี้ชื่อว่า Manchester..

ประวัติศาสตร์ของ Manchester เริ่มต้นจากการตั้งถิ่นฐานในยุคโรมัน

โดยชื่อของเมืองนี้มาจากภาษาละติน คำว่า Mancunian หรือ แมนคูเนียน ซึ่งปัจจุบันคำนี้ใช้เรียกชาวเมือง Manchester ด้วยเช่นกัน

เมือง Manchester นั้นรุ่งเรืองอย่างมากในช่วงของการปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรม โดยเฉพาะการผลิตสิ่งทอ จนทำให้ Manchester ได้กลายมาเป็นเมืองอุตสาหกรรมแห่งแรกของโลก

สำหรับในปัจจุบัน อุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวของเมือง Manchester ก็เติบโตขึ้นเช่นกัน

ในปี 2017 มีนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติมาที่เมือง Manchester ประมาณ 1.3 ล้านคน ขณะที่อุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวสร้างรายได้ให้แก่เมืองกว่า 285,000 ล้านบาท

ทำให้สนามบิน Manchester เป็นสนามบินที่มีผู้โดยสารมาใช้บริการเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ปี 1997 จำนวนผู้โดยสารที่มาใช้บริการสนามบิน Manchester เท่ากับ 15.9 ล้านคน
ปี 2018 จำนวนผู้โดยสารที่มาใช้บริการสนามบิน Manchester เท่ากับ 28.2 ล้านคน

การเพิ่มขึ้นของผู้โดยสารทำให้ต้องมีการขยายสนามบินด้วยงบประมาณกว่า 38,000 ล้านบาท เพื่อให้สามารถรองรับผู้โดยสารสูงถึงปีละ 50 ล้านคน

ปัจจุบัน Manchester นอกเหนือจากการเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านธุรกิจ การท่องเที่ยว ก็ยังมีด้านอสังหาริมทรัพย์

ในปี 2019 เมือง Manchester เป็นเมืองที่ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็น เมืองที่น่าลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์อันดับที่ 2 ในสหราชอาณาจักร

ข้อมูลที่น่าสนใจคือ

เส้นทางรถไฟแรกของโลก ถูกสร้างในปี ค.ศ. 1830 ซึ่งเป็นการเดินทางระหว่างเมือง Liverpool กับเมือง Manchester

จุดเริ่มต้นที่ทำให้ สเกาเซอร์ (ชาว Liverpool) และ แมนคูเนียน (ชาว Manchester) นั้นไม่ถูกกัน
เพราะในอดีต เมือง Manchester เป็นเมืองอุตสาหกรรมผลิตสินค้าแต่ไม่มีพื้นที่ติดทะเล ทำให้การขนส่ง และนำเข้าสินค้าต่างๆ นั้นต้องผ่านเมืองท่าของ Liverpool

พอเรื่องเป็นแบบนี้ เมือง Liverpool จึงมักเก็บภาษีค่าผ่านทางแพงๆ สำหรับสินค้าของเมือง Manchester อยู่เป็นประจำ

ทำให้ในเวลาต่อมา ชาวแมนคูเนียนจึงขุดคลองเพื่อหาทางไปออกทะเลเอง ทำให้ไม่ต้องง้อท่าเรือของเมือง Liverpool อีกต่อไป

เมื่อการขนส่งสินค้าต่างๆ ผ่านเมืองท่าของ Liverpool ลดลง เศรษฐกิจของเมืองก็ชะลอตัว จนคนในเมือง Liverpool ตกงานเพิ่มขึ้น

นั่นจึงเป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้คนจากทั้งสองเมืองนี้ “ไม่ถูกกัน” นับตั้งแต่นั้นมา..

In all honesty, the director was most likely well-intentioned, doing what she thought was best to help students. However, there are better ways to address the issue. This is a learning opportunity for us all.

There’s a crank to the back right of the piano, so head back there and start turning it. This will lift the piano up a little ways, then it’ll drop and break the flooring. However, it’s not all the way, so you and Six will have to jump on it until it fully breaks through the floor. n this next room, there’s a vent on the left side that Six will boost you through. On the other side is a Bully that’s holding a key. While the Bully is busy playing with it, drop down quietly and sneak over to the piece of wood, which you can use as cover.

Six will then distract the Bully by stepping on the piano, giving you some time to grab the pipe that was next to the Bully and smack it. Then, head over to the door on your right and Six will help you open it a crack to go back into the room.

Then, head over to the door and unlock it.

Entering the School
Climb up the rope on the side of the building, then through the window. You’ll notice a switch on the wall, flip it and it will turn off the lights. You’ll see a tiny bit of light shining through one of the pictures on the wall. Now, you’ll have to find a way to knock it down.
Head down the hallway and enter the room on the left that’s filled with bunk beds. Grab an object off the floor, and head back to the picture. Toss this item at it and it’ll fall down, then crawl through the hole.
You’ll then find yourself in a room with a chair in the middle. If you move around the floor a bit, you’ll notice some unstable flooring. With Six’s help, jump up and down on it until it breaks.
From here, continue making your way under the floor until you reach a drop off. Jump down on the platforms until you’re at the bottom, then remove the vent on the right. Crawl through until you drop on the other side near some lockers.
