2019年，幾個美國的頂尖學府被捲入一個「入學作弊風波」：有錢的爸媽會付數十萬美金的佣金，讓自己的子女能用偽造的成就獲得大學的錄取。後來這件事被拍成一個Netflix敘事電影：Operation Varsity Blues. 我們不禁問自己：為什麼大家想進這些大學已經想到失心瘋了？到底值得嗎？

In 2019, some of the top American universities were involved in a scandal, where wealthy parents paid hundred of thousands of dollars to have their kids' documents falsified, in order to gain admission to elite universities. This scandal was recently made into a Netflix original documentary: Operation Varsity Blues. We can't help but ask ourselves: is the intense competition for entry to these universities, which often drive students and parents to the brink of madness, worth it?

今天中午, 非常榮幸受到美國商會的邀請來這裡做一場, 從高雄市政到台灣未來的短短的 演講. 這個一場的演講對我來說是不可思議的奇幻之旅, 因為38年前 當我在大學讀書的時候, while I was the freshman of the college

晚上上班就在American Club，白天是student 晚上是 American Club, Security Guard 所以門進來 第一個就看到我了 I just sit there and check the card 然後看一下你是不是member。If you are not member, please just go away.

所以我的tuition in the fee，我的大學的生活費 都是American Champerpay me。然後一直讀一直讀, 邊讀大學, 邊在American Club

所以在那個38年之前, 的心情工作跟今天的感覺截然不同，那個時候我們一個窮學生, 騎著一台宜蘭摩托車, 然後看到American Chamber 的會員進來, 哇! 都是感覺大老闆來了, 大老闆Big boss, 今天再來, 感覺跟各位 big boss
美國商界企業界在台灣的好朋友共聚於一堂 這個事對我來講是一個很奇幻的一場演講,這在38年以前來講這是不可思議的,不可思議的 所以說跟美國商會, 所以說跟美國商會結緣應該是很久以前就結緣, 所以再一次感謝 美國商會今天熱情的邀請, 而且特別重要! 非政治性的演講. 謝謝我們開始。

Hello everyone. We're Marc and Shane. Marc is a Cancer and Shane is an Aries. We started dating in the freshman year of college. We fell in love and without noticing we've been in love for 10 years.

Time is a journey that can only go forward and can not be reversed. Grasp the present, no matter how many years we can love each other in the future, we should create wonderful memories that belong to us, cherish the time we spend with our loved ones, and remember every moment that belongs to us.

Despite this video being very personal, I wanted to share my dieting journey and 3 tips with you guys! Do keep in mind that the 17 pounds I lost was over the span of four years. It was definitely more of a lifestyle and mentality change, than a quick fix. Although I did lose weight, I do eat a sufficient amount to sustain muscle development. I workout as often as I can these days, alternating between cardio and muscular workouts.
