A couple things I would like to say regarding recent events, and I hope to give you a better understanding of the team's management by the end of this post.
.
.
Since 2017 when our management team was formed, I take great pride in saying that we have had very few missteps surrounding our management practices -- whether it is regarding our staff, our current players, or even players that have left. We pride ourselves on being firm, but fair, to enable our teams to perform as well as they can, and to enable us to best entertain you, our fans. I hope you can trust our track record on this, and continue to place faith in Team Secret.
.
.
It has always been our policy not to get involved in personal conflicts. Some people like each other, some people don't like each other -- it's not appropriate for an organization to get involved in personal conflict, as long as both remain professional and have the common goal of winning as a team. I have a great relationship with Biu, and with OTG -- I am not going to comment on their personal conflicts, and I ask that you also respect their privacy in this matter.
.
.
What I will comment on is their professional capacity. There's been much speculation over the last few hours, and I want to shed some light on our team's activities, to give you a better sense for how decisions are made. Our management philosophy is simple -- to make the best and fairest decisions for the good of the team as a whole. Sometimes that will lead to one or more people being upset, but try to be as balanced as the situation allows.
.
.
In my experience with him, OTG's management of our PUBG Mobile squad in Malaysia has been exceptional. From taking care of team logistics and bootcamps, to supporting each player's needs, to managing tournament schedules, practices, and casting engagements, he has been nothing short of professional towards myself, and our global management team. When a player forgets their headphones, OTG is the guy that will drive an hour back to a player's home to fetch their headphones. I don't say this from just my own single point of view, but it is also a shared opinion from our players, and our global team.
.
.
Following our win in the Malaysia Country League, the team strengthened our lineup with Jangs and Rex in order to prepare for the World League. This was a team decision, and every player -- including Biu -- believed we would be stronger with these new additions. This however, meant naturally that one player would be an observer during games, which is not uncommon for many teams fielding 5 or even 6 man rosters. Rex, Biu, and even uHigh all came in and out of the active lineup, as the team experimented with different strategies to adapt to the meta and playstyle of the World League.
.
.
The active time of each player during World League was a result of guidance that I gave to OTG and the rest of the team. After experimenting with different lineups and strategies during the weekday group stages, we knew there were only 3 Super Weekend chances to qualify for the Finals. Out of the 3 Super Weekends, the team decided to allocate time for Biu to be in the Week 1 active roster, for Rex to feature in Week 2, and for the lineup with the highest point total to carry the momentum the rest of the way. My guidance was to put personal matters and emotions aside, and make decisions based on what would be best for the team in this moment. Ultimately we have responsibility towards all of our players, and our fans, to give the best performance we believe we can give as a team.
.
.
From a personal standpoint with Biu and OTG, as a friend I will get involved if asked, but any personal matters are for them to work out between themselves, not the Team Secret organization. I sincerely hope as a community we can give them the space to solve their differences.
.
.
From a team management and professional decision standpoint, I would humbly ask you to direct all criticisms to me. We manage with the best of intentions, but that does not mean we don't have room to improve. I hope we can continue to have your trust, and we can count on your support for this upcoming season.
.
.

I was watching a video and in it, I saw a horse on a leash, and it really bothered me. I began to question if we truly love our pets, or we are merely using them from a selfish standpoint to ameliorate our own lives with no regard for their free will.

The Denver Nuggets were right on the Los Angeles Lakers' heels when Kobe Bryant suddenly got hot.
Oh, did he get hot.
Bryant scored 19 points in a span of 4:19 of the fourth quarter Wednesday night, and the Lakers beat the Nuggets 122-107 to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series.
Games 3 and 4 will be in Denver on Saturday and Monday night.
Bryant finished with 49 points and 10 assists -- one shy of his career playoff high in both categories.
"Tonight, the way he was going, we probably could have put 10 people on the court and probably wouldn't have been able to stop him," said Nuggets star Allen Iverson, who wasn't bad himself, getting 31 points and six assists.
"I didn't realize it," Bryant said when told about his scoring spree. "You just get into one of those rhythms. My teammates were looking for me, it just feels like the ball finds you."
The Lakers led 89-79 entering the fourth quarter. The Nuggets drew within five points three times before a three-point play by Bryant with 6:41 remaining made it 101-93.
That was only the beginning.
Two free throws by Bryant in a span of two seconds after technical fouls against Smith and Iverson made it 105-94 with 5:37 left, and Bryant added a 3-pointer 18 seconds later to extend the Los Angeles lead to 14.
Game over.
"The 3-ball he made was the big play," Nuggets coach George Karl said. "I thought that kind of ended the game from the standpoint of our spirit. In a lot of ways, a great player ran us out of gas. The majority of his jump shots that he made tonight are somewhat undefendable."
Bryant kept it going before his hot spell ended with 2:22 left when he made a three-point play, giving the Lakers a 120-101 lead. He came out for good 20 seconds later to a loud ovation and chants of "MVP, MVP" from the capacity crowd of 18,997 at Staples Center.
Bryant was replaced by Coby Karl, the son of the Denver coach. It was the first time in NBA playoff history that a father has coached against his son.
There was some trash talking between Bryant and Kenyon Martin, Denver's 6-foot-9 forward who had the assignment of guarding the Lakers' star in the first two games.
"He's one of those players that you don't really want to make mad," teammate Lamar Odom said. "He can make shots from anywhere with people on him. I was surprised [Martin was talking at him]. You never want to wake a sleeping giant. He can hit shots on anybody, on a number of defenders anywhere on the floor.
"Talking to him is a surprise to me, but guys are competitors too, so sometimes you get caught up in it. Kobe was definitely coming out to prove a point."
Bryant shot just 9-for-26 in scoring 32 points in Game 1. He went 18-for-27 in Game 2.
Pau Gasol added 18 points and 10 rebounds and Luke Walton scored 18 points for the Lakers. Odom, hampered by foul trouble throughout the second half, was held to four points, four rebounds and six assists, but in the end it didn't matter.
Carmelo Anthony added 23 points, J.R. Smith had a career playoff high 21 and Marcus Camby had 17 rebounds and four blocked shots for Denver. Martin, who fouled out with 5:47 remaining, scored 10 points.
Anthony scored seven straight points to trigger an 11-0 run, giving Denver a 68-67 lead midway through the third quarter. With Odom on the bench with four fouls, Los Angeles appeared to be in some trouble. But Walton scored 10 points during a 22-11 spurt to finish the quarter and give the Lakers a 10-point lead. Bryant had four assists during the run.

Terrell Brandon recorded his first
career triple-double with 27 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds
as the Minnesota Timberwolves coasted to their fifth straight
win, 123-112 over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Timberwolves set a team record by shooting 64 percent
(52-of-81) from the floor, eclipsing their old mark of 63
percent set against the Los Angeles Lakers on March 31, 1993.
The win was Minnesota's 10th in 11 games.
"We're putting the ball in (Terrell's) hands and he is
responding," Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders said. "How he
played tonight is how he's been playing. He's been getting a
lot of assists and doing a lot of things."
The Wolves were on fire from the opening tip, shooting a
blistering 82 percent (18-of-22) in the first quarter to take a
39-19 lead. Brandon had nine points and five assists in the
period, while Malik Sealy scored eight points.
"In the first quarter, we were 18-of-22, Brandon said. "We're a
jump-shooting team and it's kind of contagious. When one guy
gets going, everyone else steps up and starts hitting shots. We
were hot."
"We've been playing with great flow the last couple of weeks,"
Saunders added. "I didn't expect to play that well in the first
quarter though. We just got into a great flow and were very
unselfish."
Minnesota controlled the game through the first three quarters,
continuing its sharpshooting and committing only five turnovers
to take a 99-75 lead into the final period.
Philadelphia halved the deficit, climbing within 109-97 on
Tyrone Hill's layup with 6:38 remaining. After Brandon answered
with two baskets to extend the lead to 16 points, the 76ers
responded with a 9-2 run, capped by a free throw by Allen
Iverson that sliced the margin to 115-106 at the 3:26 mark.
But Brandon and Kevin Garnett hit consecutive jumpers to put
away the game.
"I thought my team tried like crazy and didn't give up," Sixers
coach Larry Brown said. "You get a team shooting 66 percent ...
you're going to get beat by 30 points most nights. From a
coach's standpoint, I appreciate their effort and the fact that
we didn't give up under some pretty difficult circumstances."
Minnesota recorded its highest first-half point total of the
season, taking a 68-50 lead into intermission. The 76ers closed
to 86-72 on a 3-pointer by Iverson with 3:55 remaining in the
third quarter, but the Timberwolves scored the next 11 points
and took a 24-point bulge into the final period.
Sealy finished with 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting while going
7-of-7 at the line. Garnett chipped in 20 points, eight assists
and eight rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have won six of
their last seven on the road.
"When we went through our losing streak, we found out that
staying together is very important," said Garnett, referring to
the eight-game slide that preceeded the current tear. "We found
out a lot about ourselves."
Joe Smith added 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench for
Minnesota, which is 12-0 this season when shooting at least 50
percent.
Iverson scored 37 points and Aaron McKie added 17 for
Philadelphia, which shot 45 percent (40-of-89) and committed
only nine turnovers.
"I don't want to get into moral victories, but we gave ourselves
a chance," McKie said. "We could have easily gave up and just
stopped fighting and let them do what they wanted. But we hung
in there, kept playing tough and gave ourselves a chance to win
down the stretch."
Theo Ratliff, who was activated from the injured list before the
game, had a miserable night. The Sixers forward fouled out in
the third quarter with no points, two rebounds and five
turnovers in 11 minutes.
