ย้อนกลับไปเมื่อธันวาคม 2020 ที่ผ่านมา ทีมงาน Microsoft และ Xbox ได้มีการเปิดตัวเกม Perfect Dark ภาคใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการ แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม นับตั้งแต่เวลานั้นเป็นต้นมา ก็ไม่มีข่าวสารเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับเกมนี้อีกเลย จึงทำให้แฟน ๆ Xbox หลายคนเริ่มสงสัยสถานะถึงเกมดังกล่าวว่าเป็นอย่างไรบ้าง

แต่ไม่ต้องห่วงว่าตัวเกมจะโดนยกเลิกการพัฒนาอย่างแน่นอน เพราะล่าสุด Ryan Duffin ผู้กำกับ Animation Gameplay ในทีมงาน The Initiative ได้มีการเปิดรับสมัครพนักงานในแผนก Gameplay Engineer เพื่อช่วยพัฒนาเกม Perfect Dark

แม้ทีมงานยังไม่มีการเปิดเผยรายละเอียดเกมเพิ่มเติม แต่ก็เป็นสัญญาณที่ดีว่าเกมดังกล่าวอาจเริ่มดำเนินการสร้างอย่างเต็มกำลัง แล้วเกมดังกล่าวจะมีแผนเปิดตัวอย่างใหม่ในรายการ Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase หรือไม่ก็ต้องติดตามข่าวสารกันต่อไป

A mysterious signal has been recorded coming from the red planet.
