ในชื่อ The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu แน่นอนว่าหลายคนเห็นแล้วก็อยากเล่น และตื่นเต้นกันเป็นธรรมดา แต่ดูเหมือนชุมชนชาวเกม The Sims 4 จะไม่คิดอย่างนั้น เพราะวิดีโอเปิดตัวตัวอย่างนี้ ก็โดนดิสไลค์ไปมากกว่า 47,000 ครั้ง

แน่นอนว่าไม่ใช่แค่ดิสไลค์ แต่คำต่อว่าถึงด่าทอมากมายได้ถูกระบายออกมาทางโซเชียลมีเดีย อย่างเช่น

- กล้าดียังไงเนี่ย เราไม่ได้ต้องการขยะนี่ คุณทำลาย The Sims 4 กันง่าย ๆ อย่างนี้เลยนะ ฉันโคตรเกลียด The Sims ตอนนี้เลย

ส่วนสาเหตุที่แฟน ๆ ไม่พอใจกัน คาดว่ามาจากการที่ EA เคย Survey ทำแบบสอบถามชุมชนชาว The Sims ไปแล้วว่าอยากได้อะไรใหม่ในเกมบ้าง

แต่ดูเหมือนว่าพวกเขาจะไม่ได้สนใจรับฟังมันเลย บ้างก็ว่า EA ก็ยังคงเป็น EA ที่หน้าเงินไม่เปลี่ยน นำเอาสิทธิประโยชน์ในการถือครองแฟรนไชส์ Star Wars มาหากินแบบนี้

แต่เชื่อว่าท้ายที่สุดแล้ว ตัวเสริมนี้ก็ยังคงออกวางขายตามปกติ และปล่อยให้แฟน ๆ ทะเลาะวิวาทกันทางอินเทอร์เน็ตต่อไปตามเดิม
