Milton Goh was born in Singapore in 1993. Currently at the age of 28 years old, Milton is a Christian Parenting Blogger, and a Christian Author who is also a full-time dad to an adorable 5 year old girl, Maeleth Sarah Goh.
He and his wife Amilee Kang are happily married and enjoying the family life that God has blessed them with.

March - April can be a busy period because it’s tax season: Calculating and filing taxes, settling bills and accounts, preparing for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, etc.

Anytime you feel overwhelmed by the demands of life, take a moment to breathe and receive a fresh supply of grace from Jesus to complete your tasks.

Never set out by your own strength, but go in a consciousness of His grace that is working in you.

Remember the sisters Mary and Martha who lived in Bethany? It’s not that Mary had nothing to do—she just chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and receive from Him first.

Jesus’ words, probably conveyed in a spirit of love and grace, empowered her to complete her tasks without being stressed out and angry like Martha.

As a result of being loved by Jesus, Mary was able to be at the right place at the right time, anointing Him for burial right before His subsequent betrayal.

Anytime the pressure builds up and it feels like everything is upon you to complete, cast that burden unto Jesus in prayer and receive His rest instead.

A person who is inwardly at rest will be able to produce a far better quality of work than a person who is trying his best with his own strength!

“For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.” (‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:6-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

In the Book of Acts, we read about Paul facing many dangers, imprisonments, beatings, persecution, etc.
However this time, Paul was sure that his time of departure had come—it must have been revealed to him by the Lord.

How wonderful if we could have the inward confirmation to boldly declare Paul’s words, “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.”
These are the words of a man with no regrets because he fulfilled his calling.

Paul was full of confident expectation of the great eternal rewards that await him upon Jesus’ return.
When we devote ourselves to living for the eternal things above and not the temporal things of earth, we will have this same confidence.

“If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.” ‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Believers who live like this from allowing themselves to keep receiving and being transformed by God’s word, are also the ones that look forward to Jesus’ return.

They have crowns of righteousness stored up for each of them which will be given to them at the start of the Millennium.
These crowns probably denote special positions of honor and authority in Christ’s Millennial kingdom on earth.

Not every believer looks forward to the Rapture. Those who are worldly have their hearts set on the things of this world and don’t want Jesus to come back so soon.
These believers won’t receive the crown of righteousness—there are differences in the level of eternal rewards that each believer receives.

Every believer is saved, but not every believer will receive the same level of eternal rewards.
Eternal rewards are measured to a believer based on the extent to which he/she fulfilled the unique calling upon his/her life.

““Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and reconciled accounts with them. He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things.
