Pray this for me. More open doors for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reach those who need it the most, especially during this time! We need boldness to preach the Gospel because if we are afraid of man’s opinion, we won’t even speak or write anything we think may offend others. The truth offends when people are clinging on to wrong beliefs.
“For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ.” (Galatians 1:10 WEB)
A people pleaser cannot be an effective minister of the Gospel because he will mince words and hold his tongue when God actually wants him to speak.
Pray that this illusionary fear of man would fall off, and that I, and all of us, will allow the Holy Spirit to lead us without any hindrances.
There is no time to waste, and there are many souls that need to be won.
“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work. Don’t you say, ‘There are yet four months until the harvest?’ Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”” (John 4:34-38 WEB)
The harvest fields represent the nations of the world. The wheat are the souls.
We are reaping souls easily today by preaching, thanks to the labor put in by the prophets, the apostles, the saints, and of course God, throughout the ages. Through the faithfulness of these predecessors, we have the complete Bible today, and the full revelation of the Gospel to share to the whole world.
Never forget that the Gospel we have access to today was fought for with much blood, sweat, and tears. People faced heavy persecution and even died for the truth.
Treasure the Gospel and never take the words of the Scriptures for granted!
Need help understanding the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John correctly through the lens of Grace? I know how intimidating reading the four gospels can be. When I was a new believer, some passages in there were just frightful and discouraging.
The reason was because I did not know how to rightly divide the Word based on the covenants. I thought everything in there was directed at me.
For example, Jesus said that if you eye causes you to sin, pluck it out, for it is better for you to enter Heaven without eyes than to have your entire being cast into the fire of Hell. Are we supposed to pluck our eyes out when we sin? Are we supposed to cut off our arms and legs like Jesus said? We need to understand the important reason why He said what He did. There is a purpose that you won’t understand if you have no context or background knowledge of the whole Bible.
If you are new to reading the four gospels for yourself, or you have some questions about difficult passages in there, I would like to recommend you read my four-ebook bundle called “Understand the Four Gospels Through the Lens of Grace”.

Change of Wine Skins!
“No one puts new wine into old wine skins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved. No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”” (Luke 5:37-39 WEB)
Are you still worshiping God with an old wine skin belief system?
The type of wine skin represents the covenant that God made with man.
A person with an old wine skin is someone who believes that he has to live by the Old Covenant of the Law—mainly the Ten Commandments. Old wine represents Old Covenant truths.
On the other hand, a person with a new wine skin is someone who lives by the New Covenant of Grace, and new wine represents New Covenant truths (Gospel truths).
You cannot correctly understand Grace truths while having a legalistic view of God and His ways.
Someone who thinks he has to please God by keeping the Ten Commandments cannot readily accept Grace truths.
Are you trying to love God as best as you can, or are you focusing on how Abba God loved you the best that He can when He sent Jesus to die for you on the cross?
Are you trying to earn your own righteousness or are you relying on the righteousness of God which you have received as a gift?
Switch to a new wine skin and you will be ready for new wine! It may take some time to renew a mind that has been taught Law-keeping for a long time, but the joy, freedom, and fruitfulness will be worth it!
The four gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John contain many powerful truths that will help you in life. Understand them through the lens of Grace: https://bit.ly/understandeveryparable

Jesus was Baptized with Fire
“But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”” (Mark 10:38 WEB)
At the cross, Jesus drank the cup of God’s wrath for sins (Isaiah 51:17, 22, Revelation 16:19) to its dregs, and He was baptized with the fire of judgment for sins (Matthew 3:12).
““I came to throw fire on the earth. I wish it were already kindled. But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to give peace in the earth? I tell you, no, but rather division. For from now on, there will be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. They will be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”” (Luke 12:49-53 WEB)
Jesus didn’t come to join this world system, but to disrupt and change it. He did not come in peace to forge a friendship or peace treaty with Satan, but to destroy the devil’s strongholds using the fire of the Holy Spirit. He came to declare war against the devil, to save us out of his clutches.
At the cross, Jesus received the baptism of the fire of judgment and cried out “It is finished”, so that we could be forgiven; washed so clean that we can have the Holy Spirit inside us today.
Jesus saw the positive outcome that would arise from His suffering and death, so He willingly allowed the Father to baptize Him with fire.
Every sin was punished in Jesus’ flesh so that we can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit today and be endowed with His power.
The Spirit-filled church is the fire that Jesus was looking forward to throw onto the earth, to destroy the corrupt and evil world system. We are His army, spreading like wildfire, setting the devil’s strongholds ablaze.
Through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Satan’s strongholds are crumbling. The church is on the offensive against the gates of Hell.
“The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.” (1 Corinthians 10:16-17 WEB)
For Jesus, it was a cup of curse that He drank. At the cross, He received the vinegar (which represented the curse that He bore upon Himself) after every sin was fully judged in His flesh (John 19:28).
Thanks to His sacrifice, we can drink the cup of blessing today which is the Lord’s Supper. When we partake of it, we remember how Jesus shed His blood (containing His life) for us so that we could receive every blessing.
He endured the baptism of fire so that we could have the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He drank the cup of wrath and curse so that we could partake of the cup of blessing.
This is the grace of God—we can freely receive the good that we didn’t deserve because Jesus took all the bad that we did deserve.
Let us praise Him and remember His sacrifice, especially during this Passover week as we behold His journey to the cross, the tomb, and the resurrection!
