The islets of Granada are located in Lake Nicaragua, just southeast of the city of Granada in Nicaragua. The islets are a group of 365 small islands scattered about the Asese peninsula. Many of the islets are occupied and privately owned. They also have facilities such as hospital, school and shop etc for the residents.

自從上次划獨木舟划到吐後，這次特地租個雙人的🛶 而且 York 還很聰明，特地叫導遊陪我一起划，這樣他就不用太辛苦😂 因為他知道我一定會偷懶😜

划船的河流 Rio Istián 位於兩座火山的中間🌋 不只風景絕佳，還能見到許多不同植物以及鳥類🐦 可惜我大部分的時間都不知道牠們叫什麼😅 只能麻煩大家看圖說故事，如果知道鳥的名字也歡迎幫忙補充唷❤️ #尼加拉瓜 #戶外冒險 #中美蜜月旅行

After my vomiting incidence in Granada, I made sure we hired a double kayak this time😆 Kayaking through Istián River was relaxing, especially when your guide did most of the work😜

Located between the island of the two volcanoes 🌋 The kayak offers superb view with interesting wildlife🐦

Saw so many birds that I couldn't name, even fruit bats resting on a tree trunk🦇 Hence this is just an album with pretty photos, if you know the bird name, would appreciate your input 😆 Thanks heaps❤️ #nicaragua #ometepe #kayakingfun

哈囉❤️ 目前我們人正在 Isla de Ometepe 奧梅特佩島，一座在 2010年被聯合國譽為世界遺產生態保護區的雙火山島🌋 位於全中美洲最大的淡水湖泊上，這座島嶼的生態環境非常獨特🏝️ 許多外國背包客都很愛來這裡尋找大自然與自我🌴

不過接近大自然的壞處就是很難找到一家評價好的住宿，就算貴的地方也有很多人抱怨蚊蟲與蜥蜴很多😅 連我們的旅館 算負評少的，也在簡介上寫著：「如果您怕蟲子的話，奧梅特佩島不適合您🕷️」所以早上醒來發現壓死的蜘蛛也只能自認倒楣😑

來到這座島嶼的話可以享受淡水湖，爬火山🌋 可是前四晚在格拉納達都沒睡好，來到奧梅特佩島反而訂了一間有冷氣的房間，導致都懶得出門😂 而且島上有熱水澡的地方很少，這間旅館是少數有熱水的♨️ 結果第一晚熱水居然燙到令人哇哇叫，還需要換房間才能洗個舒服的澡🚿

然後其實我很討厭搭乘摩托車🛵 只不過每天十五美金租車環島真的是很划算，不然計程車從港到旅館就要一趟三十美金💰 背著大包小包的我們騎著小綿羊環島，真的很有東南亞旅行的方式😆 其餘關於該島的資訊我寫網誌再放，目前這篇就當作我的旅行筆記吧❤️ #尼加拉瓜 #騎車環島 #中美背包蜜月行

An UNESCO biosphere reserve, Ometepe is an island made up of two volcanoes🌋 Ancient people called it "the promise land" as it's surrounded by largest fresh water lake in Central America🏝️ The unique biodiversity & remoteness of this island is a heaven for nature lovers🌴

So close to nature... We had trouble finding a hotel that's not infested with insects🕷️ Our hotel brochure even quoted: "If you don't like insects, Ometepe is not the place for you..."😑

Although our hotel has good reviews (less bugs), still woke up with a dead spider in my bed the next morning 😱 Oh yea... It was hard to find a place that provides hot showers on the island as well♨️ However the water in our room was actually TOO HOT, had to tell them to fix it😑 All the power generated on the island are from burning bunker oil, but we still happy to finally got a room with AC after four nights of restless sleeps in Granada😂

Rented a scooter for USD$15 per day by getting this recommendation from this random dude off the boat 😅 Toured the island in South East Asian way😎 The island was actually bigger than we thought, took an hour just to ride from the port to our hotel🛵 Hmmm... Really didn't do much on this island...🏝️ Everything was too "nature" related 😂 #nicaragua #ometepe #backpackinghoneymoon
