Got the news that I’ve been nominated for Best Actress at the Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards for my role in Mergers and Accusations by Eleanor Wong at @esplanadesingapore. Ahhh. Haha

I’ll take this opportunity to gush about this 2019 highlight cos I don’t think I ever got round to doing that before. Haha. Here goes! Ellen Toh is one of my favourite roles to date, and am very thankful that I got to play her. Thank you Eleanor Wong for this fantastic person and script!! The pain of not being able to be who you are because society isn’t ok with it, trying so hard to compromise, the evolution of relationships, trying to contract emotions... ♥️💔♥️ it is a 20 year old play, and so much is still relevant.

Am also freaking glad I finally got to work with this director!! I remember the first time I saw a play Yingxuan directed, I thought, “Holy shit, she is so incredibly sensitive to text, to people, and is unsentimental yet deeply nuanced and empathetic in her approach to these characters, I want to work with her!!” Thank you for teasing out the many subtle layers, for pushing us to go deeper, for opening so many possibilities, for trusting me to do this!!

Phone conversation between Althea Lim, co-founder of Gushcloud and Shaun Stanislaus.
Background:
After http://xiaxue.blogspot.sg/2014/12/the-big-gushcloud-expose.html was published, Shaun posted on his facebook that he knew an NUS intern who allegedly claimed that he was asked to falsify documents for Althea Lim during his stint in Gushcloud.
This conversation happened because due to the leaked Whatsapp group chat of Gushcloud, http://faithingushcloud.tumblr.com/, Shaun found out that Althea told the Gushcloud influencers he is unhappy because Althea didn't hire him. Incensed, he called to confront Althea Lim.
