Good news for those hot pot lovers 🎉🎉 I celebrated my birthday yesterday at a newly open steamboat restaurant 🍲located in Damansara Uptown, which inspired by the old Hong Kong style! Their Golden Fish Tripe Chicken Soup is superbly good, made with super fresh chef-select ingredients and cooked for *8 hours straight* without any MSG added!

Chef recommended us three soup base yesterday, we ordered the *Golden Fish Tripe Chicken Pot*, *Xingapot Premium Mala Pot* and the *Pickled Cabbage Pot* .Don't play play, their soup really good, you will get addicted to it!

Not forgetting their homemade handmade items, their Chili Squid Paste, Truffle Prawn Paste, Mixed Handmade Platter are some of the must-try items! You can't not taste it elsewhere!

Hi friends! I hope you're having a GREAT weekend. Happy Sunday! Today's vlog is honestly SO MUCH FUN. My best friend, Michelle, and I tried NEW MAKEUP that I just bought last week. We got a chance to test our the NEW KVD Beauty GOOD APPLE FOUNDATION... wow! Let me tell you, it is FULL COVERAGE. I actually look forward to wearing it soon when I do a full face of makeup. Another product that I LOVED this weekend was from NYX Cosmetics, I cannot believe the lip gloss DID NOT come off... I had to scrub it off so hard with makeup remover that was oil based. But, how cool, right?! A lip gloss that doesn't budge! We tested out a lot more items and it was fun to do a mini makeup review with you guys! I also gave up a small update on my new house and some new home decor items I just added! The rest of the weekend are all about our precious dogs and we had a SUPER FUN girl's weekend! JR北海道　函館本線
1880年（明治13年）11月11日に官営幌内鉄道 銭函 - 手宮間で仮運転。
11月18日に官営幌内鉄道 開運町駅（現在の南小樽駅） - 軽川駅（現在の手稲駅）間の試験開業に伴い、仮開業。一般駅。
11月28日に官営幌内鉄道 手宮駅 - 札幌駅間の仮開業に伴い、正式開業。
1891年（明治24年）下期に停車場移転（札幌側に約100m移転）。
1911年（明治44年）6月20日に函館本線 朝里駅 - 当駅間が複線化。
1931年（昭和6年）12月に現行駅舎に建て替え。
1968年（昭和43年）8月28日に函館本線のうち、当駅を含む小樽駅 - 滝川駅間が電化（交流20,000V・50Hz）。
2015年（平成27年）9月27日にキヨスク閉店。
2017年（平成29年）10月7日に改札内のエレベーター、駅舎入口のスロープ、多機能トイレを設置するバリアフリー化が完成。
2017年度（平成29年）の一日平均乗車人員は1,962人。
相対式2面2線のホームを持つ。ホームの移動は跨線橋で行う。出口は北側。駅舎側（北側）が3番線で札幌方面の列車が、向かいは1番線で小樽方面の列車が利用する。
中央の2番線にはホームがなく、ほしみ駅発着の列車が折り返すために使用する。札幌方面発ほしみ行きの列車は、一度当駅の2番線まで回送し、折り返しほしみ駅まで回送した後にほしみ発札幌方面行きとして運行する。
1970年頃に駅員が手作りした「銭函」が飾られている。縦58 cm、横140 cm、奥行き46 cmあり、かつてはホームの屋根から吊るされていたが、危険であると判断されて2010年6月に降ろされてホームの脇に飾られるようになった。
駅名の由来は地名から。いつもニシンが大量にとれたため、「銭函」となったとされる。このほか、ニシン漁により、当時はどの漁師の家にも銭箱が積まれていたから、とする説明などがある。
北海道で最初の鉄道として手宮駅 - 札幌駅間が開通した際に、これに合わせて開業した、北海道で最初の駅の1つである。他の多くの途中駅が乗降客がいるときだけ列車を止める簡易駅（フラッグストップ）だったのに対して、銭函駅は当初から正式な駅である。
銭函海水浴場の最寄駅であり、夏には海水浴に訪れる人々で賑わう。
開業した当初から、西辻甚太郎が「酒まんぢう」を駅構内で立ち売りしていた。これは北海道で最初の立ち売りであるとされており、北海道における駅弁のルーツとも言われている。「酒まんじゅう」は戦後、販売中止となるが、1998年に復活し、キヨスクが2015年に閉店するまで販売されていた。

It was rebuilt in December 1931 with the current station building.

On October 7, 2017, barrier-free installation of elevators in ticket gates, ramps at station entrances, and multifunctional toilets was completed.
The average daily ridership in 2017 was 1,962.
A "Zenibako（Money box）" handmade by station staff around 1970 is displayed. It is 58 cm high, 140 cm wide and 46 cm deep.It was once hung from the roof of platform, but it was judged dangerous and was dropped down in June 2010 and can be displayed next to platform. .
The origin of the station name is from the place name. It is said that it became "Zenibako（Money box）" because a large amount of herring was always taken. Other explanations include that at that time, every fisherman's house had a money box due to herring fishing.
