I grew up thinking that we have to work really hard to enjoy life.
Now, I find moments that I love in the “littlest” things.

From eating my fav childhood snacks, going for a jog at the park I played at growing up, and even making my cup of Nescafé Gold in the morning before doing anything else.
These are my moments. Nothing fancy, but it is fulfilling to me.

寶寶今天滿月了🌕 都不知道新生兒長得那麼快！出生後十三天就長三公分，老人家說「一眠大一吋」果然有理！👶

墨爾本正式成為世界上封城最久的城市，如果 10/26 真的解封了話，將會封了267天...🔐 謝謝整個城市陪我做月子...😂

原本以為懷孕胖不到八公斤（正在寫如何控孕期體重文章中...），代表產後身材很快就會恢復🤰

沒想到產後的四肢水腫真不是蓋的，花了兩個禮拜才消腫😩 明明孕期都沒事！也因此錯過與新生兒拍攝這一系列媽媽與寶寶的比例照片🥲

後來問其他朋友，原來大家產後問題都比產前多（瞬間老十年）...難怪華人要做月子躲在家中修養一個月...😬

話說上次健康檢查護士說一般寶寶一個禮拜大 130-200g，我家兩個禮拜就重將近 400g！護士形容她為 muscular💪金剛芭比無誤啊！難怪上次她亂扭頭撞到我的手臂還腫起來，可怕啊~😝

Baby is one month old today🌕 In the first two weeks she was so quiet, we sometimes forget we have a baby 🤣

She grew 3cm in 13 days!!! Was not expecting babies to grew this quick, missed out on newborn photo opportunity 🥺

Took her for a health check up and the nurse said she grew almost 400g in two weeks! Usually babies grow 130g-200g each week, she's definitely on the faster growing side😬 The nurse described her as a "muscular" baby💪

Honestly was not expecting my body to be this out of shape and sore postpartum 🥺 It's almost like I aged ten years!!! The postpartum edema was worse than I thought, especially I was totally fine during pregnancy 😖

After asking several friends, turns out everyone was on the same boat, except no one talks about it🙄 No wonder Asians go on confinement (hideout) for a month after birth 🤣

Anyways, Melbourne has officially become the city with the longest lockdown in the world 🔐 It's like the while city is in confinement with me..😬

10 thought about my first 4 months in NYC

1. Forget about good hair. It’s windy all the time.
2. I failed to find any working musician that didn’t impress me.
3. I certainly would have been a decent ‘borader’ if I grew up here.
4. I rediscovered my love for music.
5. A few reliable friends could already make you live your life fully.
6. I can’t have too many jazz or my mind would collapse. I need a mix of everything.
7. Being a student again didn’t make me feel younger.
8. Every single person I encountered in NYC are working on or dreaming about something exciting
9. It’s been the most luxurious period of time of my life. A time that I was solely working on my own dream.
10. NYC is a musical heaven. But I need to be in Hong Kong, like how I need music.

I still have so much footage I haven't edited and decided to work it up and to publish all that content, just so one day I can look back and see how my girls grew up and what my life was like at each stage. (Will translate this into Vietnamese later, I'm almost out of battery and can't find my charger lol)

With the opening of the Liantang Port and Heung Yuen Wai Highway over the past two years, the once remote villages of Fanling and Sha Tau Kok in the New Territories have now become more accessible.

En route to Fanling is Ma Mei Ha Village, originally fortified on all sides by granite walls. It is a cluster of around 10 villages, including Kan Tau Tsuen, where a half-century-old grocery shop has witnessed the development of the region over the past decades. Wong Wing-sheung started helping at the shop when he was only six years old, before eventually taking the family business over from his father when he had reached teen years. “I know almost everyone who was born or grew up here,” the 58-year-old says with a proud smile. Wong has been delivering all kinds of groceries to people’s homes upon receiving their phone orders, sometimes even carrying a 30 kg pack of rice on his bicycle, until his recent semi-retirement.
