本週盧卡斯影業在「ANIME EXPO LITE 2021」宣布將於 9 月 22 日推出最跨國新企劃《星際大戰：VISIONS》，將與日本 7 間動畫製作公司合作，包括神風動畫、Kinema Citrus、 Science SARU、Geno Studio、STUDIO COLORIDO、 TRIGGER、Production I.G，推出 9 部《星際大戰》全新短片。

在《星際大戰》系列作品當中，不管是角色、人物甚至是故事，都受到了日本文化的影響，導演喬治魯卡斯也曾公開表示自己從日本神話以及黑澤明導演的作品當中獲得相當多靈感，這次透過日本創作者的視角，並融入日本動漫元素，重新詮釋《星際大戰》這部經典作品，最後會碰撞出怎樣的火花，相當令人期待！

Netflix ประกาศสร้างแอนิเมชันซีรีส์ Terminator
โดยมือเขียนบท The Batman

เรื่องราวของคนเหล็กยังไม่จบง่าย ๆ เมื่อล่าสุด Netflix และ Skydance เตรียมกำหนดวันพิพากษาครั้งใหม่ในรูปแบบแอนิเมชันซีรีส์

แม้ตอนนี้จะยังไม่มีการเผยรายละเอียดว่าเนื้อหาของแอนิเมชันจะเล่าเรื่อง ในช่วงไหนและเกี่ยวกับตัวละครตัวใดก็ตามแต่ซีรีส์จะได้ Production I.G ทีมสร้างที่อยู่เบื้องหลังแอนิเมชันของ Netflix อย่าง Ghost in the Shell, B: The Beginning และ Eden of the East อำนวยการสร้างโปรเจกต์นี้

พร้อมได้ Mattson Tomlin มือเขียนบท The Batman ของ Matt Reeves และก่อนหน้านี้เขาพึ่งมีผลงานการเขียนบทให้กับ Netflix อย่าง Project Power มาเป็นผู้สร้างแอนิเมชันซีรีส์ Terminator โดยเขาบอกว่า "ใครก็ตามที่รู้จักผลงานของผม ต่างก็รับรู้ได้ว่าผมทุ่มเทมันออกมาด้วยใจทั้งนั้น ผมรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติมากที่ Netflix และ Skydance ให้โอกาสผมได้ทำ Terminator ฉบับนี้"

Netflix ได้ประกาศจับมือกับ Skydance ในการสร้างอนิเมะซีรีส์จากแฟรนไชส์ "The Terminator" หรือที่ในไทยรู้จักกันดีในชื่อหนัง "คนเหล็ก" โดยมี สตูดิโออนิเมะระดับตำนาน Production I.G ผู้สร้าง Ghost in the Shell, B: The Beginning และ Eden of the East มาเป็นผู้ดูแลการผลิต

"Terminator คือ 1 ในเรื่องราวไซไฟที่มีเอกลักษณ์ที่สุดเท่าที่เคยมีการสร้างมา และโตไปพร้อมกับโลกของเราตลอดเวลา อนิเมะซิรีส์เรื่องใหม่จะเข้ามาสำรวจจักรวาลนี้ในแนวทางที่ไม่เคยมีมาก่อน เราเองก็รอไม่ไหวแล้วที่แฟนๆ จะได้รับประสบการณ์เรื่องราวใหม่อันน่าทึ่งในสุดยอดการต่อสู้ระหว่างเครื่องจักรและมนุษย์"
