第一位講者介紹：歐陽鋒 （Tobie Openshaw）
歐陽鋒是一位在台灣工作超過23年的南非電影製作人兼攝影師。他的作品主要是關於台灣的文化以及環境問題，並在國家地理雜誌、Discovery、半島電視台和天氣頻道(The Weather Channel)等頻道播映。
歐陽先生最近致力於台灣的原住民議題，他參與了多個與原住民權利和文化、神話和民俗以及氣候適應力相關的項目。
歐陽先生是台北導演之夜短片發展計畫的創始人。他還擔任過城市遊牧影展和臺灣國際民族誌影展(TIEFF)的評審團。
歐陽先生將為我們講述他為國際新聞和紀錄片頻道拍攝、製作影片的經歷，以及台灣外籍電影人的電影製作環境。

It is our honour to have Dr. #DavidChung, JP, Under Secy for Innovation and Technology, Innovation and Technology Bureau #ITB, as our Officiating Guest for the Opening Ceremony of Big Data Lab of PolyU CPCE. With the launch of Big Data Lab, we are able to achieve the following objectives:
-- To provide Big Data Lab as a Service (BDLaaS) by making use of cloud computing, machine learning and AI technologies;
-- To coordinate the development of infrastructure to assist CPCE academic colleagues to make use of big data (data-driven) approach in conducting research; and
-- To facilitate colleagues to apply for research grants using big data approach, for instance, to estimate the budget in big data collection and processing, computing power and storage, analytics and presentation tools, etc.
