英特爾(Intel) vs 超微(AMD)

【基本面分析】
英特爾(INTEL)的市值和營收在現階段都是勝過於超微(AMD)
，但近期超微(AMD)以驚人的成長速度緊追其後，就營收來看兩者相差10倍，短期內可能很難超越。

【市佔率分析】
在我們日常生活中，【CPU】可以說是不可或缺的存在像是冰箱、手機、電腦、平板、汽車、VR等用品都需要它【CPU】中央處理器，可以說是這些電子用品的大腦，負責處理各種運算。

INTEL和AMD
最新一季2020Q2的市佔率
【CPU】:INTEL為62.4%、AMD則是37.6%，
【桌上型電腦】:INTEL為51.1%、AMD則是48.9%(AMD很大的機率會在下一季度超越。)
【筆記型電腦】:INTEL為81.1%、AMD則是18.9%
【伺服器】:INTEL為98.4%、AMD則是1.6%(英特爾主力)

近年雲端服務興起，隨著資料量大幅成長，隨之而來的資料運算存儲需求，帶動大型資料中心業者如臉書、微軟、亞馬遜、Google興起，這些雲端巨頭大舉興建資料中心，觀察上圖不難發現資料中心所需要的伺服器，正是INTEL的主場。

【CPU產品分析】
-CPU處理器定價-
儘管英特爾通常會在幾種類型的工作負載中提供更高的性能，但在中階產品AMD仍保有【價格的優勢】。

-AMD vs Intel CPU遊戲性能-
您在玩遊戲時會進行超頻的話，英特爾的Corei9-10900K和Core i7-10700K會是非常不錯的選擇，能夠保持遊戲性能的極高水平。

【產品市占率前10名】
根據UserBenchmark網站的統計，便宜的價格以及性價比，
使得AMD在大多數人購買的中端產品中取得了壓倒性的勝利。整體來說如果您想要最好的超頻，遊戲或軟件支持，或者想要在不購買獨立GPU的情況下提高生產效率，則【INTEL】可以提供優勢。但是，如果您想在價格和性能之間取得最佳平衡，那麼【AMD】會是更好的選擇。

【半導體晶圓廠
對於製程量產之時程表】

英特爾2014年取得領先地位後，將近5年沒有更新製程導致台積電(TSMC)、三星(Samsung)等公司的超越。
AMD也將晶片製造的業務從格羅方德(GlobalFoundries)移交給台積電(TSMC)製造，取得製程和市占率的領先。

【股價】
Intel原訂在2021年推出，以7nm製程技術打造的處理器產品。
7/25宣布延後至2022下半年發行，股價當天最大跌幅達到近18%!這對競爭對手AMD來說是非常大的利多，
這表示在未來2-3年內，市佔率的提升是必然的結果。7/25股價當天漲幅達到16%，截止至今(8/7)已超過40%

【總結】
AMD的7nm技術、Zen處理器和EPYC的架構，讓目前停留在14nm技術和Skylake架構的INTEL非常頭疼。近期AMD CPU從注重性價比和低耗電的策略轉變為提供更多內核，更多性能和更低功耗要求的前端設計，使得INTEL不得不添加更多的內核和功能，不難看出INTEL在佈局上的被動。

最後:筆者認為INTEL是一家財務面非常好的公司，這次的晶片製程延後顯示出公司內部的各種問題，但近幾年INTEL逐漸往雲端服務、AI等領域發展(佔總收入40%)，我不認為它會像NOKIA一樣就此殞落。另外AMD不管是在技術還是佈局上筆者都相當看好，因此都有少量建倉。

From my point I don’t see why you would buy the 2014 model as the upgrade is not really that extreme and might even be just maybe only noticable in very large projects. But the 2.3ghz vs 2.5ghz Quadcore Intel i7 processsors is overal does not really improve much. So here is the list specs of both.

Really not that much of difference and mostly the rendering and graphic handling for editing is more about the proper graphics card that can handle it than the CPU. So you can save atleast 500 to 1000bucks which you could invest into something else instead of only gaining that little bit of extra CPU speed.
