紀惠容女士三月剛卸任財團法人勵馨基金會的執行長一職，是台灣知名提倡立法防範性別暴力的社會運動者，蓋中途之家保護家暴受害者，並創立勵馨Formosa女兒獎鼓勵女孩勇敢挑戰性別的框架。紀惠容女士因她對人權的貢獻曾榮獲2005世界兒童獎與凱洛格兒童發展獎，也是台灣第一位非營利組織的領導者獲得此份殊榮。今日，紀惠容女士與勵馨基金會仍持續涵蓋人道關懷發展影響力，包括打擊雛妓與人口販運，提供未成年母親的諮詢，並引進提倡婦女人權的國際成功案例。

Chi, Hui-Jung – former CEO of the Garden of Hope Foundation

Ms. Chi Hui-Jung is the former CEO of the Garden of Hope Foundation and a well-known Taiwan activist, who pioneered advocating for the establishment of laws to prevent gender violence, initiated plans to build shelters for domestic violence survivors, and founded the Formosan Daughter Awards to encourage girls to challenge gender stereotypes. Ms. Chi received the Kellogg's Child Development Award at the 2005 World of Children Awards for her outstanding contributions to children’s rights, and she was the first Taiwanese NGO leader to receive this prestigious award. Today, Ms. Chi is still expanding her efforts to cover more humanitarian issues: fighting against child prostitution and human trafficking, providing consultations to teenage mothers, and introducing global best practices on promoting women’s rights in Taiwan.

Was star-struck when the Prime Minister, YAB Tun Mahathir @chedetofficial paid a visit at the Petronas booth today.
Tried my best to keep a straight face while introducing Mrs Shred to him, a plastic shredder machine that is part of a recycling campaign for rural areas called Beyond Bins.
It basically shreds plastic bottles into flakes and then turn it into precious recycled coasters.

This campaign by NGO Biji Biji aims for mindset and behavioural changes towards sustainability while making it accessible, especially more for rural areas with lower access to recycling facilities.

Always good to see big companies step up their recycling game ♻️
