Let this sink in. Right now, the waiting list for Palestinians in Gaza to seek medical treatment in Israeli hospitals is long and the denial list is getting even longer. Gaza has a barely functional healthcare system due to Israel’s blockade and siege. People who have cancer, injuries, or diseases that need urgent medical care are forced to apply for permits to get medical care in Israeli hospitals. Physicians for Human Rights reports that that Israel has rejected or ignored over 90% of applications of exit permits so far in 2021. They say that “this sweeping ban on patients’ leaving Gaza under the existing regulations is effectively a death sentence for many, a severe, agonizing death sentence.” Meanwhile, Yakov from Long Island can come freely and squat in a Palestinian family’s home.

In another anti-Palestinian chant, they yelled: “May your village burn.”
The Israeli air force launched air raids on the Gaza Strip early on Wednesday after Palestinians in the besieged enclave sent incendiary balloons into southern Israel, Israel’s military and witnesses in Gaza said.
In a statement, the Israeli army said it attacked Hamas compounds and that it was “ready for all scenarios.”
It was not immediately clear if there were casualties as a result of the bombings.
The air raids mark the first major flare-up between Israel and Gaza since a ceasefire on May 21 ended Israel’s 11-day assault on the territory, which killed 256 Palestinians, including 66 children, according to Gaza authorities. Twelve people in Israel were also killed by rockets fired from the enclave.
On Tuesday, hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza protested against a “provocative” march by Israeli far-right nationalists through occupied East Jerusalem.
Tuesday’s so-called “March of the Flags“, which marked the anniversary of Israel’s 1967 occupation of the city’s eastern part, came as tensions remain high over Israel’s planned forced displacement of Palestinian families from the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
Ahead of the march, Israeli police forcibly removed dozens of Palestinians from outside the Old City’s Damascus Gate. At least 17 Palestinians were arrested and 33 others were wounded as Israeli police fired stun grenades in the surrounding areas of Damascus Gate.
