2015美國音樂出訪計畫將在2015年3月14日晚上於新北市政府多功能集會堂，為大家帶來卡洛琳‧馬拉凱(Carolyn Malachi)的動人演出，我們期待各位踴躍參加演唱會！
卡洛琳‧馬拉凱(Carolyn Malachi)是一名集爵士、嘻哈、口語藝術 (spoken word)和豐富想像力於一身的藝術家。她充滿靈魂的歌聲，在鼓、鋼琴和貝斯的襯托下，讓MTV將她列為「五個令人著迷的R&B歌手」之一。2013年，她推出了完整專輯《Gold》，其中的電台金曲〈All Right〉和〈Fall Winter Spring Summer〉，被美國公共廣播電台(NPR)列入「公共廣播電台無法停止播放的十首歌」歌單之中。當被問起比較偏好饒舌、歌唱還是有聲詩時，Malachi答道：「最終，音樂才是一切的優先，因為音樂就是自由。」Carolyn曾在2011年獲葛萊美獎「最佳都市／另類演唱」獎提名。

The American Institute in Taiwan is pleased to announce that the American Music Abroad 2015 Taiwan tour featuring Carolyn Malachi’s will hold a concert on March 14, 2015 at the Multi-Purpose Auditorium of the New Taipei City Government. We hope you will attend!
Carolyn Malachi, a soulful singer backed by drums, piano and bass, combines jazz, hip hop, spoken word and lots of imagination. In 2013 the artist whom MTV calls “one of five R&B artists to obsess over” – released a full-length album. GOLD includes FM/XM radio hit “All Right” and “Fall Winter Spring Summer,” which NPR named to its 10 Songs Public Radio Can’t Stop Playing list. When asked whether she prefers rapping to singing or spoken word poetry, Malachi replies, “Ultimately, the music comes first, because music is freedom.” Carolyn also earned a Grammy award nomination in 2011 for Best Urban/ Alternative Performance.

I think I already told you that I'm going to the US next month but guess what? I might pop in a short trip to NY as well since I'm already near. I'm basically leaving in 2 weeks already and I'm freakin excited!!
Before I leave I want to get some vlogs up that I've been wanting to edit but I just never got to it. Mind you that the footage is already 2 years old and I'm still going to upload it, oops. I just want to upload all my precious memories so I can look back on them whenever I visit my youtube page.
I also want to get some videos ready for when I'm in the US so I can keep uploading bc I'll be gone for almost a month. I'm planning on bringing my laptop with me so maybe I will film short fun videos that are easy to edit and keep uploading while I'm there. Who knows hehehhe.
