Lesu jet adalah fenomena fizik yang pasti akan berlaku. Anda tidak boleh elakkan walaupun anda mungkin seorang ahli terbang yang aktif & tegar.
Di samping mempunyai aktiviti yang menarik setelah sampai di destinasi baru, kadang2 saya perlu lakukan aktiviti fizikal bagi lawan & bunuh lesu jet. Kadang2 kita lawan api dengan air. Lawan lesu jet dengan membaca bahan yang kita suka atau berjumpa kawan atau makan malam bersama.
Kadang2 kena lawan api dengan api. Fizikal dengan fizikal. Jadi, apa yang saya selalu lakukan?
Di sesetengah bandar dunia dengan tahap keselamatan waktu malam yang baik, saya suka berjalan di taman (park) atau di jalan2 bandar bagi merehatkan minda & otot yang keletihan. Saya selalu lakukan di London, Dubai, Istanbul, Melbourne, Almaty, Astana @ Nur Sultan, Munich, Tokyo & Seoul.
Memamg indah. Walaupun mata & minda dah ngantuk jam 7 malam waktu tempatan, tapi saya masih berjalan2 seorang diri. Bila sampai balik di hotel sekitar jam 9 maam, badan rasa fresh & boleh buat apa2 kerja lagi. Dapat pula jana masa baharu. Kemudian sekitar jam 11 malam, masa dah sampai untuk tidur. Bila bangun waktu pagi jam 5 atau 6 pagi, seolah2 anda bangun di tempat sendiri di Kuala Lumpur.
Kalau saya tidak boleh berjalan di luar disebabkan cuaca atau keadaan tertentu, saya akan mencari gym. Sebelum saya book mana2 hotel, saya akan check kemudahan gym dulu; ada tak & waktu operasi. Gym adalah ubat kepada lesu jet.
Dalam apa pun kesibukan & keletihan anda berada di tempat baru setelah terbang berjam2, jangan abaikan gym atau berjalan di waktu pagi. Ia banyak membantu anda menewaskan lesu jet.
Adakah saya masih ada lesu jet? Mungkin dah tak ada sebab terlalu kerap terbang sehingga cecair otak dah dapat sesuai dengan pergerakan laju atas udara. Namun saya masih amalkan tips lawan lesu jet. Minum air kosong. Jalan & exerise atas pesawat & di airport. Jangan tidur awal di tempat baru. Lawan rasa ngantuk. Lakukan aktiviti badan di malam & di awal pagi.
Amalkan selalu....seorang itu handal bukan kerana dia handal tetapi kerana dia istiqamah & tetap lakukan semua perkara yang diperlukan untuk jadi handal.
