Enjoy delicious, restaurant-grade food without the hassle of spending hours in the kitchen prepping and cooking up a storm. The Hainan Story 海南寶 has just launched their ready to eat Hainanese meals that are bound to delight and evoke nostalgia on the dinner table.
We received their products below and we just had their Chilli Crabmeat and Cigar Mantou as well as Hainanese Yibua for tea. Super yummy! We can’t wait to try the rest.

These ready-to-eat packs are best kept frozen or chilled. Just thaw them and follow their simple, step-by-step instructions to cook, boil, or steam, before enjoying them.
What’s more, these creations are by the award-winning Chef Austen Ong who kicked off his cooking career as a 13-year-old apprentice of the legendary Chef Tham Mui Kai, aka one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Chinese cooking.
On 28 September 2021, Hainanese food lovers get to join The Hainan Story’s Market Place via their Facebook live on 8pm to grab some ready to eat meals.

Malaysia is going through the most challenging time we have ever experienced because of Covid-19. And no one is spared from feeling the impact despite that; there are a lot of kind souls out there that goes out of their way to help people as much as they could.
@hellotammylim is one of them with a vibrant spark. Tammy went above and beyond by organising a food aid to help those who cannot afford even basic needs for their household. It takes a compassionate heart to put time and energy into organising respective drives, even with a full-time job. She brought happiness to those who need it without expecting anything in reason while inspiring the rest of us.
People like Tammy are blessings to all of us, especially during the pandemic. And just like Tammy, there are ordinary yet inspiring Malaysians out there with their larger-than-life spirit overcoming challenges with their positive energy, and @tenaga_nasional presents a series of Malaysians' greatest untold “semangat” and achievement stories featuring four inspiring Malaysians :
1. Ridzuan Jamal (An entrepreneur who helps unemployed Malaysians to earn an income through the power of RM1 buns)
2. Ong Yong Xuan (20-year-old self-taught coder invented a study app to help SPM students study)

這次點來咖哩嚐一嚐

這咖哩味道真的香XDD
會讓人想要趕快開動的誘人~
咖哩醬辣度有激辛和中辛兩種,
愛吃辣的我是選大辣
辣度上是唇與喉會感受到的,但是吃完不會變成香腸嘴的溫和😊
牛腩是走有嚼勁、不軟爛的路線,
雞肉好咬不乾柴;
餐點原本是搭配玉子燒,內心掙扎的好多下,
就還是加了$24元更換成三顆滑蛋;
雖然因為外帶外送關係,吃起來少了滑順咕溜
但是嫩口度是沒問題的

咖哩醬汁一開始會覺得太少,但吃到最後我就沒有這個想法了,
不多不少,完食剛好
底層鋪好鋪滿的藜麥飯,加上厚實的滑蛋
以及為數不少的肉塊,份量與飽足感上是蠻對得住價格的😉

於是近年有不少以植物研發的肉類出現,像Beyond Meat、Just Scramble。最近還有全球首個以100%植物製作的新豬肉─Omnipork。
這款豬肉質感及味道都跟真豬肉極為相似,適合用作烹調亞洲菜式, CNN、Seeker、LIVEKINDLY的國際媒體都有報道。
最近Green Monday首間旗艦餐廳Kind Kitchen,就成為了香港首間,可以吃到Omnipork的食肆。店子以柔和的藍綠色系為主調,供應的食品絕不含動物成分。其中以Omnipork創作了中、西、日、越等多國風味菜式,釀在藕片上的藕遇膳良豬,配上醋醬,酸酸甜甜很醒胃;以豆乳湯配上麻醬、辣醬做成的擔擔麵,微辣惹味;由本地工場自家製作純素法包,再配本地豆腐、甘筍等做法包,配純素魚露,增添越式風味。亦有專為兒童而設的Kind Kid's Menu,讓素食者和非素食者都能享用一頓「善良之餐」。
店內同時設有超級市場,搜羅多國不同的素食及健康食品,又加入教育元素Mini Common專區,內有兒童良食玩具廚房、兒童食譜,讓小朋友玩着遊戲接觸「良食」概念。

This video shares with you how to make ice-cream at home from just 2 INGREDIENTS, NO MACHINE, NO MIXER needed. It can't be easier and it's super tasty.
The basic recipe includes:
120 ml (1/2) cup whipping cream with minimum 35% fat - COLD
45 g (2.5 tbsp) condensed milk (feel free to add more or less to your taste)
3 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla - optional
Add everything into a bowl and whip until it turns foamy and stiff. Freeze for 2 hours until the cream is totally solid and serve.
Add other ingredients such as chocolate, nuts, fruit extract, etc. for ice cream with other flavours. Enjoy! :)
