After "BEACHIN" at Koh Larn Beach, quick refresher back in our hotel then headed straight to GEMS Gallery, the biggest gems store in the world. I saw different stones there, ride a toy train but everything is so expensive. After that we go to HILL TRIBE VILLAGE which is a replica of the real tribe in Chiang Mai. Saw that long necked tribe called KAREN women. Im in awe of this tribe.

戰亂時期有不少少數民族從其他國家遷徙到泰北,
清邁邊境便因此成為了少數民族集中地。

少數民族總是給予人一種神秘的感覺
大概由被冠以「少數」這個形容詞開始，大家都會覺得他們是與眾不同的一群
由語言、生活方式、以至審美觀，都跟我們所謂的「主流」有所出入
有些人可能會覺得他們自我封閉，慨嘆他們時至今日仍然活在古老思想之中的確，當中一些不人道或不健康的風俗真的令人有點咋舌。

少數民族漸漸融入主流已經是個趨勢，不少新一代的少數民族都放下傳統包袱，融入社區,而正因為少數民族愈來愈萎縮，令更多人想趁這些文化完全消失之前親身感受一下,有見及此，聰明的泰國政府就把一些距離市區較近的少數民族村落包裝成觀光村
吸引及滿足各位好奇的遊客。

團友中,大部份是來自內地同胞,一起食午飯的時候,我跟他們有傾有講,經常聽到香港的同事、親友、媒体說,內地同胞行為失禮,但其實,我所接觸的,又未必想像中差!

我絕對支持民主,但出外旅遊是,心態一定不可帶著有色眼鏡,否則去參觀少數民族,就是要尊重文化差異。

但我離開清邁機場當天,我見到個大媽排隊打尖,我有開口叫她排隊。某些人性行為,是較發展得遲,而需要被教育,對於看不過眼的事,我不會不出聲的,但我較喜歡發掘世界美好的事,跟大家分享。

Doi Inthanon National Park

Doi Inthanon is the highest peak in Thailand at 2,565 Metres above sea level.

The area is covered by evergreen forests which are very unusual and unique to this part of Thailand.

We will visit the great Twin Royal Pagodas built as a tribute to the King and Queen of Thailand as well as beautiful flower gardens.

Then visit Red Karen Hill Tribe village and after that Wachirathan Waterfall, one of the biggest in the Chiang Mai Region.

on the way back to Chiang mai we visit Wat Pra That Chomthong Temple, one of the most holy temples in Chiang Mai.
