Create a crisis, solve a crisis
—————
//所謂危機管理(crisis management)中,有一項手段,叫create a crisis, solve a crisis(製造危機,然後解決危機)。
• Some would accuse the government of helping to create a new crisis — by refusing to conduct a total border closure with mainland China — in an attempt to make the crisis of continuous pro-democracy protests go away.
• Carrie Lam says Hong Kong cannot conduct a total border closure with China and "target" mainland travellers as that could amount to discrimination, but she shuts the city’s door on Korean travellers almost immediately.
• The Korean ban happened on the day when that country's number of infected cases was more than 800, while that in China was just short of 80,000.
(Home office)
(Panic buying of facemasks)A run on toilet paper, etc,搶購廁紙,等等。記得嗎,a run on a bank、a bankrun,就是銀行擠提。
• Hong Kong has been enveloped in the health and public health panic. • Many businesses have shut down temporarily amidst the virus scare.

Mr Wang claimed his cover in Hong Kong was as a businessman working for CIIL, which he described as a front company used by various Chinese intelligence agencies and Communist Party officials. His boss, Xiang Xin, was a senior intelligence operative, he said.
“We sent some students to join the student association and they pretended to support Hong Kong independence,” Mr Wang said. “They found out information about those pro-independence activists … and made public all their personal data, their parents’ and family members’.”
He said he personally helped to organise the infamous kidnapping to the mainland of Causeway Bay Bookshop owner Lee Bo. Mr Wang says one of the aims of his intelligence work and the targeting of dissidents was to spread fear: “to make all troublemakers in Hong Kong terrified.”
A spokesman for CIIL said Mr Xiang did not want to answer questions from The Age, the Heraldand 60 Minutes over the phone, because he had never spoken to the journalists who were calling, and when questions were emailed to Mr Xiang, the spokesman said Mr Xiang would not answer because he could not verify that the email was not sent covertly by the Australian government in order to obtain intelligence.
Mr Wang said his operation successfully meddled in the “nine-in-one” elections in Taiwan in 2018, leading to victories for pro-Beijing candidates. In May, he was given a fake South Korean passport and ordered to commence an operation on the ground in Taipei to influence the 2020 presidential elections with the aim of bringing down President Tsai Ing-wen.
“I was requested to change my name and whole identity to go to Taiwan and be a spy there,” he says.
Mr Wang said that his organisation had dealings with several significant Australian political donors, including a one-time staffer in a federal MP's office. Mr Wang provided bank account transactions to back his claims.

Video Title: The Secret Overseas Headquarters of North Korea
"Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. February 13th, 2017. A frantic Korean man approached an airport receptionist in the departure hall of Terminal 2, in Kuala Lumpur International Airport. He claimed someone had grabbed him from behind and splashed a mysterious liquid on his face, and he was now feeling some discomfort. The receptionist sent him to the airport’s medical clinic to be looked at by doctors, but it wasn’t long until he became unresponsive. Less than 20 minutes later, he was dead. The liquid that was smeared on his face turned out to be VX nerve agent (a chemical weapon categorized as a weapon of mass destruction). The victim was Kim Jong-nam - the half brother of North Korea’s Supreme Leader, Kim Jong-un. Before his untimely death, Nam was set to return home to Macau (after a business trip in Kuala Lumpur) - Macau was where he had lived anonymously with his family the past two decades. But while he never made it back, the aftermath of his assassination brought a great deal of unwanted attention to the Chinese city he lived in; for the long-standing secretive relationship between Macau and North Korea was now in the limelight..."

Video Title: Has KFC Conquered Asia?
"We’ve already covered McDonald’s on this channel, and, well, now it’s time for some KFC. Kentucky Fried Chicken is the world’s second largest restaurant chain after McDonald’s, with over 23000 outlets in more than 140 countries and territories around the world. Now recently, the number of KFC outlets has been declining in the US, but the company has actually continued to grow over in Asia. In fact, KFC’s largest market lies on this continent (we’ll get to that soon). KFC was founded on March 20th, 1930 in Kentucky, with its very first franchise opening in Utah in 1952. Just a year later it made its way to Canada; and in 1965 the first overseas franchise outside of North America opened in the UK. Now it’s from this point where KFC enters the Asian market (well before McDonald’s); and, in this video I’ll be taking you through the next 54 years of KFC's Asian ascension. So, which Asian country was the first to open a KFC? What did KFC have to sacrifice in order to compete with local markets? And how much of Asia is there still left to conquer, as of today? Indeed we’ll get to all of that, so grab a Zinger burger, maybe some drumsticks, and we’ll explore every Asian country to have ever had a KFC!...
