I’m so amazed by the new @katvondbeauty Lock It Compact Powder Foundation! ❤😍 Compact powders to me are always reserved for only touch ups, never as a real “foundation” because they only provide light coverage typically.

This badass looking baby is even more high coverage than most cc cushions - is that crazy or what? I was completely skeptical when I saw the package said high coverage, but it is high coverage as promised! Did this look with no concealer, and the finish actually looks matte without the usual “too powdery” look that compact powders typically give. Plus it has some crazy blurring effect on your skin so it also evens out skin tone and covers pores 🥰

And unlike most compact powders with maybe 2 or 3 shade varieties, this has 26 so it can suit any skin tone! 😱 My perfect shade is Fair 120.

Comes with a nifty washable sponge, which actually picks up quite a lot of product (thus the high coverage). If you want a light touch, use a brush instead!

Yay the video is out! I created this festive candy cane inspired look with a full face of Kat Von D Beauty products but haha now Xmas is over.... 😅 it’s ok though people are feeling Christmas all the way till the end of 2018 ok 😂 And the silver is still very apt for NYE!

I loveeee the Lolita eyeshadow palette which is just about the most pigmented thing I’ve ever swatched!!! 😱😱 If you guys are in SEPHORA you have to go test it out omg!!

The most difficult part about this look is obviously the red and white stripes, done with the new Inkwell Matte Eyeliners in Outlaw and White Out. The eyeliners come in so many colours!

I always use KVD’s brow pomade in Aubergine but today I went with a more normal Dark Brown. It’s so precise I don’t have to use concealer afterwards to correct the brows and it still looks so sharp! Plus it lasts all day!

And most underrated highlighter which I LOVE LOVE LOVE is the shade Emerald from the Alchemist Holographic Palette. Many people see GREEN and they go ew but surprisingly enough the green shade looks amazing as a highlighter. I mean look at that video glow!
