在過去的周末, 在葡萄牙及西班牙多處都出現嚴重山火, 氣象專家指, 炎熱乾旱的天氣, 加上受颶風Ophelia的強風所影響, 使兩國山火吹得更一發不可收拾。其中在葡萄牙中部和北部多處的山火, 已經燒去大片樹林, 根據葡萄牙官方資料, 星期日一天內有近500宗山火報告, 6人死亡, 約25人受傷, 超過5,000位消防員出動救援。
各位如正在葡萄牙旅遊中, 注意交通和天氣變化, 如到郊外旅遊請提高警惕。若不幸發現山火, 除盡快離開外, 可行情況下立刻打112 (如同香港的999報警熱線) 報警。

Deadly wildfires raged across Portugal and Spain over the past weekend. For Portugal, at least six people have been killed, and around 25 people have been injured. According to Portuguese authorities, close to 500 fires were reported to have broken out on Sunday alone. More than 5,000 firefighters were deployed.
The extremely dry weather, plus the strong winds fanned from Hurricane Ophelia have made the wildfires burn and spread very quickly.
If you are travelling in Portugal at the moment, be alert of changes in weather conditions and transportation. In case of forest fires, escape as soon as possible and call 112 to report fire cases.
