I know how much you all love some reno-inspo, so here’s a deep dive into my journey, going room by room. Today, we explore the 'boudoir'. Hehe!
Our place went from being a Bali-esque rental bachelor pad, where my hubby-to-be used to stay by himself, to being our first home together after we got married.
We incorporated elements from all our favourite hotels and holiday destinations into the reno design, to make our home feel like a permanent staycation getaway!
Our entire house is painted in soothing neutral colors but for our bedroom, we wanted something outstanding yet not over the top.
So! We decided to paint the wall behind our headboard this alluring purple shade (also our fave color!) and the end result is this beautiful feature wall that we still fall in love with over and over again.
We also shifted our wardrobes to the side and created a walk-in closet and vanity area. The pièce de résistance for the beauty junkie in me is the huge vanity mirror with lights attached directly to it, a feature we were told was impossible to pull off. Psst! I'll do a separate post elaborating more about it and of course, also sharing more close up photos of this area.
