• ใครอยากดูหนังแอ็คชั่น-ทริลเลอร์ โคตรลุ้นจากยุค 90's จัดเรื่องนี้ได้เลยไม่ผิดหวังแน่นอน
• ตอนเห็นพล็อตผู้ก่อการร้ายจี้เครื่องบิน ก็คิดอยู่ว่าลากยาวสองชั่วโมงกว่าจะมีอะไรให้เล่นเยอะขนาดนั้น ผลคือหนังโคตรจัดเต็มอุปสรรค เหมือนผู้กำกับรู้ใจคนดู อยากลุ้นนักใช่ไหม จัดความอีหลุกขลุกขลักให้เต็มเหนี่ยวไปเลยละกัน ถ้าง่ายเดี๋ยวไม่ได้ลุ้นสินะ
• ความสนุกของหนังคือต้องพาหน่วยคอมมานโดแอบขึ้นเครื่องบินกลางอากาศ แล้วยังต้องกู้ระเบิดโดยที่คนกู้บาดเจ็บต้องคอยบอกให้วิศวกรเป็นคนทำงานแทน พร้อมกับหาตัวคนร้ายที่แฝงตัวปะปนอยู่ในกลุ่มผู้โดยสาร
• ตัวละครที่หนังเล่าได้ใช้ทุกคน ทั้งบทแอร์โฮสเตสและตำรวจอากาศ คือไม่ใช่แค่คอมมานโดเป็นฮีโร่ หรือตัวเอกโซโล่ฉายเดี่ยว เพราะคนบนเครื่องบินก็คอยช่วยเหลือด้วยเหมือนกัน
• แล้วอาจจะต้องเพิ่มเติมสักหน่อยว่า หนังไม่มีฉากตัวละครทำอะไรโง่ ๆ (อาจจะมีนิดหน่อยที่ทำอะไรไม่บอกเพื่อนร่วมทีม)
• อ่านเบื้องหลังหนังแล้วตกใจว่าทำไมเดือดกันเลเวลนั้น สตีเวน ซีกัล ข่ม จอห์น เลอกิซาโม่ ในกองถ่ายด้วยการอัดเข้ากำแพง แล้วเคิร์ต รัสเซลล์ ยังเปิดศึกกับเลอกิซาโม่เพราะด้นสดไดอะล็อกบ่อย มาเจอประโยคล้อเลียนเรื่องกลิ่นเท้าเลยบู๊กันเลย
• แล้วก็หายสงสัยด้วยว่าทำไมจอห์น เลอกิซาโม่ เด่นมากจนแปลกใจ ตอนแรกนึกว่าเป็นการตัดสินใจสุดกล้าหาญในยุคนั้น แต่ที่ไหนได้น่าจะมาจากเรื่องส่วนตัวของซีกัล (ซีกัลไม่มีชื่อใน opening credits)
• Warner Bros ส่งสคริปต์หนัง Forrest Gump ที่กำลังมีปัญหาทั้งบทและการหาตัวนักแสดง มาเป็นข้อแลกเปลี่ยนกับสคริปต์ Executive Decision ของทางฝั่ง Paramount เพราะคิดว่าความสำเร็จของ Rain Man อาจจะกระทบกับ Forrest Gump
• มาเรีย เมเปิ้ลส์ ที่แสดงเป็นแอร์โฮสเตสนั่งข้าง ๆ ฮัลลี เบอร์รี ในเวลานั้นคือภรรยาของโดนัล ทรัมป์
• ส่วนตัวชอบมากกว่า Air Force One เยอะ

ผู้ก่อการร้ายกลุ่มหนึ่งจี้เครื่องบินเพื่อยื่นข้อแลกเปลี่ยนปล่อยตัวผู้นำของพวกเขา แต่แผนการของกลุ่มก่อการร้ายจริง ๆ คือขนระเบิดบินเข้ามาถล่มวอชิงตัน กระทรวงกลาโหมคำนึงถึงความเป็นไปได้ของแผนการดังกล่าวจึงมอบหมายให้ 'ทราวิส' (Steven Seagal) นำหน่วยคอมมานโดขึ้นไปทวงคืนเครื่องบิน โดยพา 'แกรนท์' (Kurt Russell) จากหน่วยข่าวกรองขึ้นไปเพื่อหาตัวบอสใหญ่บนเครื่องบินด้วย

หนังสนุกมาก เป็นสองชั่วโมงที่ได้ลุ้นทุกภารกิจย่อยเลยก็ว่าได้ ตั้งแต่การโชว์เครื่องบินจากนาซ่าที่สามารถเชื่อมต่อใต้ท้องเครื่องบินพาณิชย์ (เหมือนเวลาดูหนังยานอวกาศ) แล้วส่งหน่วยคอมมานโดแฝงตัวขึ้นไปบนเครื่องโดยที่พวกผู้ก่อการร้ายไม่ทันตั้งตัว ความยากคือไม่ใช่ขึ้นไปแล้วจะเปิดหน้ายิงคนร้ายดับได้เลย เพราะต้องกู้ระเบิดก่อน ซึ่งระเบิดก็โคตรโหด การป้องกันแน่นหนาหลายชั้นไม่พอ คนที่เป็นหน่วยกู้ระเบิดดันบาดเจ็บหนักขยับตัวไม่ได้ แถมคนร้ายที่ถือรีโมทควบคุมระเบิดดันแฝงตัวอยู่ในผู้โดยสาร ต้องมานั่งหาตัวกันอีกว่าคนไหน ไม่ใช่หาง่าย ๆ ซะด้วยเพราะผู้โดยสารมีตั้ง 400 คน

ขอชมคนเขียนบทในการสรรหาอุปสรรคโยนเข้ามาให้ตัวละครแก้ไขเฉพาะหน้าได้ตลอด ความขลุกขลักมันไม่ล้นเกินไป อยู่ในระดับที่ทำให้การเล่าเรื่องได้ลุ้นสนุก ถึงหลายครั้งจะเดาไม่ยากว่ายังไงก็ต้องสำเร็จแต่มันบีบหัวใจเหลือเกิน แล้วบทกระจายให้ตัวละครค่อนข้างดี บทของฮัลลี เบอร์รี ที่เป็นพนักงานต้อนรับบนเครื่องบินก็ไม่ใช่ตัวละครหญิงที่ถูกทิ้งขว้างในหนังแอ็คชั่นผู้ชาย เธอสามารถตัดสินใจด้วยตัวเองได้ในการปกป้องตำรวจอากาศและหน่วยคอมมานโด เช่นเดียวกับการให้ความช่วยเหลือแกรนท์เพื่อให้ภารกิจสำเร็จ

ช็อคมากตอนเห็นสตีเวน ซีกัล ตายตั้งแต่ 40 นาทีแรก เพราะบทโหมมาเป็นตัวละครนำเลย ดูยังไงก็ตัวละครนำคู่กับเคิร์ต รัสเซลล์ 100% นึกว่าเป็นสคริปต์ดั้งเดิมกำหนดมา แต่ที่ไหนได้น่าจะมาจากข่าวลือเรื่องการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศและความรุนแรงในครอบครัว ที่อดีตภรรยาของซีกัลออกมากล่าวหาเขา จนทำให้เกิดข่าวลือว่ารัสเซลล์ไม่ยินดีจะร่วมงานกับซีกัล ทำให้หนังที่กำลังถ่ายทำอยู่ต้องปรับบท เขียนบทให้ซีกัลตาย (ซึ่งก็ต้องปรับแก้ เพราะตามเดิมต้องตายเพราะความกดอากาศจนหัวระเบิด แต่ซีกัลไม่ยอมถ่ายเด็ดขาดแม้จะผิดสัญญา โดยอ้างเรื่องแฟนหนังคงไม่ชอบและไม่สมจริง สุดท้ายก็ปรับแก้เป็นตายแบบฮีโร่เสียสละปิดประตูความดันให้เพื่อนรอด) แล้วตอนอยู่บนเครื่องบินกลายเป็นจอห์น เลอกิซาโม่ เด่นขึ้นมาเฉยเลย

A mysterious signal has been recorded coming from the red planet.
The message confounded Orochi scientists. Their analysts broke it down and determined it was of intelligent origin. Orochi management immediately concluded that the discovery was too sensitive for public knowledge and moved to keep it hidden. In secret, the corporation began construction of Trailblazer Alpha, a state-of-the-art Mars research outpost designed to identify the true nature of the message.
You are Shane Newehart, an engineer stationed at Trailblazer Alpha and your security clearance means you are completely unaware of the existence of the mysterious signal. Your job is simply to keep the lights on until the transport ship Cyrano arrives bringing with it a new team to take over your duties.
Soon you discover strange and unusual setbacks. Crucial systems are malfunctioning, the greenhouse is filled with a strange mist and the rest of your team has yet to return from their EVA mission.
Things are starting to fall apart.
You begin seeing and hearing things that aren’t there. Visions, hallucinations – or is that even what it is? Is this real… or are you slowly descending into madness?
