【🇹🇼🇨🇿台捷 #跨國合作 聯手抗疫】
#Taiwan has teamed up with the #CzechRepublic in the fight against #COVID19, alongside similar efforts with the #US 🇺🇸 and the #EU 🇪🇺. The president of Academia Sinica, James Liao, and Eva Zažímalová, president of the Czech Academy of Sciences, held a video conference on March 26, to facilitate cooperation between the two countries in tackling the #NovelCoronavirus.
As well as praising President Liao’s research team’s achievement in developing a #RapidTest for the virus in 19 short days, President Zažímalová expressed hope that her academy can work with the Taiwanese research institute to bring the technology to her country, as well as collaborating on the development of #vaccines and analyzing the economic, social and psychological impact of the epidemic and related isolation measures.
