However, it’s officially time to put an end to the embarrassing objections and questions from prospects that are costing you time, money, and sales.
Once you start using these 3 words, you’ll immediately gain control over the sales conversation.
It’s counter-intuitive. And it works.
The 𝟑 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 that you can use in your next sales conversation are:
𝑰 𝑫𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘.
In sales we’re taught to know everything.
When someone asks you a question, you say, “I don’t know” and then follow it up with a question.
𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞:
If your prospect starts asking about the price in the beginning of your sales conversation, here’s what you can do…
Prospect: “How much do you charge?”
You: “I don’t know. It depends on what you’re looking for. Tell me a little bit about what you’re looking for.”
And they’ll start telling you everything you need to know to close the sale.
However, if they’re ready to buy right now, you can close the sale instead of using “I don’t know.”
Another example is:
Prospect: “Why do you charge so much? I can get it cheaper elsewhere.”
You: “Why do you think our clients pay us this much?
Prospect: “Well, because you do a good job, I suppose?”
You: “Let’s pretend we do a good job, and we can help you do X, Y, Z, what’s going to happen next?”
𝑩𝑶𝑶𝑴!
When you use, “I don’t know”, you’re getting the prospect to give you more information.
And you’re redirecting the question, so all the pressure is on the prospect… not you.
Now, don’t say, “I don’t know” to EVERY question…
You only want to use it very few times during a sales conversation.
And if you sense the prospect wants some answers, give them the answer and follow it up with a question.
𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞:
“The price is $5,000. Are you comfortable spending that amount of money?”

money changer rate today 在 Julie Woon Facebook 的最佳解答
Learn to speak up and be polite. I realised many Asians are very shy to speak up even if its just to say 'hello' or 'excuse me' or 'how are you doing'. We tend to just shy away and keep our thoughts and feelings to ourselves 'thinking' its polite not to say anything. Its not. Today i had the misfortune of meeting an old grouchy man at the money changer. 4 people in the line (me included) and he went straight to the front and change his money. I confronted him to tell him that there is a line but the old man said he didn't know and thought we were all just looking at the exchange rate only. Anyway, it soon turned into a bad confrontation because voices were raised and the old man still didn't admit to his fault or apologize. There were children watching as well and i told the old man that i hope his children will grow up to be better ppl. We should be polite to old people and they should show a good example to the young ones. This old man kept saying ' no no no no no'. Maybe i'll give him benefit of doubt that he really didn't know there was a line. But when told there is a line, no matter how old you are, apologize and be sincere rather than deny and shout to us calling us stupid. So i realised how important it is to voice out. This is just 1 small example but a notable 1. When unsure, ask. You will never gain anything without asking. Don't asssume. Assumptions have almost always proven to cause problems. So speak up people! Learn to say "excuse me, are you queing up?" or apply to whatever situation you are in. Now have a great day everyone.
