Cultural diversity and religious freedom are values shared by Taiwan and the United States. Since 2017, the Palace Museum has introduced different Asian history and cultures to the people in Taiwan. On September 26, AIT’s Cultural Affairs Officer Luke Martin headed to Chiayi to the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum to kick off the month-long “2020 Asian Art Festival-Mongolian Month”. The Art Festival showcased a book fair, a series of lectures and cultural exhibitions that feature 150 archival materials and antiques that tell the history of the four Great Reincarnated Buddhist Masters of Mongolia and Tibet during the Qing Dynasty.
