🧒🏻：李老師，我不喜歡學華文！
👩🏻🏫：為什麼你不喜歡？
🧒🏻：華文很難！
👩🏻🏫：李老師小時後最討厭學數學，我也覺得很難，學不明白。可是後來，我的數學拿到A！
🧒🏻：為什麼你不喜歡還可以拿到A？
👩🏻🏫：我不喜歡是因為我不會。可是我有好的老師願意教我，而且我發現懂數學對我們的生活很有幫助，不懂數學就無法建起這麼美麗的學校了！
李老師想要從不會學到會，所以就努力學習，不想因為不了解就說不喜歡。就好像華文一樣，你知道嗎？原來懂多一個語言，可以交到更多的朋友，認識不同的人，還能幫助更多的人，會很快樂，而且你的頭腦也會更靈活！每一個語言都有自己特別的世界，你學多一個語言，看到的世界就更大，更美麗了！
👦🏻：李老師，那你會幾個語言？
👩🏻🏫：我會英文和華文，李老師還會說廣東話，一點福建話。以前老師也有學過日語。
🧒🏻：李老師，那你一定幫助過很多很多人！
👩🏻🏫：哇！你很聰明！你怎麼知道！
👦🏻：因為你有教我們華文！
👩🏻🏫：我不只幫小朋友，我還有幫大人們。
🧒🏻：大人也不會說華文啊？
👦🏻：我爸爸媽媽不太會說，所以送我來這裡。
👩🏻🏫：哈哈😄，李老師不是教大人華文，而是幫助他們有更快樂的生活。
🧒🏻：大人不快樂？
👦🏻：為什麼？
👩🏻🏫：因為爸爸媽媽們要工作，又要照顧小朋友，一定有不容易和很累的時候，李老師就教他們怎樣解決他們遇到的問題，這樣他們的家庭就能更快樂了！
所以每次你們生日時，不要一直吵要什麼禮物，要記得謝謝爸爸媽媽，跟他們說你愛他們，因為把你們撫養成人真的很辛苦。

👩🏻🏫：I didn’t like it because I didn’t understand. But I had teachers who were willing to teach me, and I discovered that Mathematics is very useful in our lives. This beautiful school cannot be built if we didn’t know Mathematics!
I wanted to go from not knowing to knowing, so I put in the hard work to learn it. I didn’t want to dislike something due to a lack of understanding. It’s just like learning Chinese.
Do you know if you know one more language, you can make more friends, know different people, and help them? You will be very happy doing that. Your thinking will also be more agile! 👦🏻：Teacher Lee, how many languages do you know?
👩🏻🏫：I know English and Chinese. I can also speak Cantonese, a little bit Hokkien and I used to learn Japanese in the past.
🧒🏻：Then you must have helped a lot of people!
👩🏻🏫：Wow! You’re so smart! How did you know?
👦🏻：Because you teach us Chinese!
👩🏻🏫：I don’t just help children. I also help adults.
🧒🏻：Adults don’t know Chinese?
👦🏻：My father and mother cannot speak it well. So they send me here.
👩🏻🏫：Haha 😄! I don’t help adults with their Chinese, but I help them to have happier lives.
