I start to feel my breath as the wave of ocean. One by one , non-stop, slowly , and deeply , feeling myself in the water , there is no separation, as wave belong ocean , ocean creat the wave , as you are me , I am you , there is no separation, we are one . Suddenly, all the beautiful memories come out , the beautiful place I’ve met. In the shinning day , stood over the snow mountain , stared into the purest white. I can’t take off my eye to look into this beautiful white. In the same time ,I look up to the sky , feeling I fluid in the universe , look down this amazing planets, Mother Earth , I can’t take off my eyes off you . Now , I’m melting in the ocean , the wave crush down me from crown of head. I don’t feel scare,I know , we are one , as a drop of water back to the ocean. A tear slide down from my eye. Peace and calm , with the music sound emerged to the nature symphony. Yes , I know ,I am here and now .

We asked Paul Huang, Violinist (performing with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra on Nov 15) to build his own Custom Series for our 2019/20 Season by picking out three performances that excited him! Here’s what he picked:

1. Daniil Trifonov – “I’ve long admired Daniil’s artistry and haven’t yet had the chance to hear him live. And his program—arrangements of Bach’s music—is very fascinating. Two of the arrangements are of Bach’s violin music and I’d love to hear these music in a more polyphonic manner. After all, violin is essentially a single line instrument, so we crave to hear harmonies!”

2. Melbourne Symphony Orchestra – “First of all, it includes my favorite piano concerto—Beethoven’s No. 4—and Stravinsky’s Firebird! Not only that, I am intrigued by the Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe’s work on this program and would like to check it out. And to top all of these, who doesn’t love Mother Goose Suite?!”

3. Taipei Symphony Orchestra – “Well, I’m obviously biased here, but joking aside, [ . . . ] the TSO has in the last 50 years proven itself not only as one of the great orchestras in the Far East, but also as a cultural ambassador. The diversity of the program for this concert is quite spectacular and I just really want everyone to come hear my hometown band in the gorgeous acoustics of Strathmore’s concert hall! The Taiwanese composer Gordon Shi-Wen Chin’s double concerto on this program—a highly emotional and spiritual concerto for violin and cello—will surely be a special experience for the listeners.”

シスターズ3人が本当に仲良さそうなところが、見ててホントに清々しい。かおりさんがソロで歌ってる時、袖でそれを見ているLynちゃんの笑顔が素敵過ぎて泣けるのよ。
