看完美劇金牌製作萊恩墨菲的「艷放80」 (POSE)今年第三季最終回,有種依依不捨的感覺,說明好劇能打動人心,果然艾美獎再獲提名,這齣講80年代紐約LGBT(女同、男同、雙性戀、跨性別)族群先驅的故事,華麗、殘酷、溫馨、傷感,幾乎由LGBT 包辦幕前主要演出與幕後製作的這齣美劇,堪稱是深入美國彩虹族群文化與衍進的透視鏡,有如LGBT版的「喜福會」。
三季故事架構主要在於「家庭」與「舞場」。但這裡的家庭並非原生家庭,而是由被原生家庭拋棄的跨性別者 (舊稱人妖與變性人)以「母親」 (Mother)身份自居,收養同樣不被見容原生家庭而流落街頭的性別邊緣淪落者,這些家庭成員相互依持包容、也有爭吵分歧,有「女兒」羽翼漸豐後背叛「母親」出來另組「家庭」、自己做「母親」再收容子女。
「舞場」 (Ball Room)也非一般跳舞池,而是80年代紐約LGBT特有的地下舞場文化,聚集著跨性別、性小眾、邊緣人,隨著每次競賽的主題做特殊妝扮變身,爭奇門艷奪取獎盃 (90年代才演變成對嘴演唱的變裝秀),劇中幾大「家庭」的「母親」帶著子女在「舞場」挖空心思的變裝走秀,拚個你死我活是全劇妝髮服裝設計與視覺享宴的一大看點 (艾美獎技術提名)。
2018年首季有80年代川普時代的初現,象徵金錢的紐約曼哈頓第五大道川普大樓裡,白人上班族迷戀跨性別黑人美女造成的動盪; 下城區同志夜店也有階層之分,跨性別者最被歧視拒絕入內。
2019年第二季從90年瑪丹娜名曲「Vogue」風靡,舞場舌璨蓮花主持人比利波特 (以首季獲艾美獎視帝的黑人同志男星)片頭詞,「The category is: live、work、pose」競賽項目是「生活、工作、姿態」。這裡的「姿態」當然是指LGBT族群要勇敢活著的生命姿態,同時也是包括瑪丹娜Vogue興起的折手舞所擺弄的時尚Pose。
被譽為2021上半年美劇佳作的第三季,在愛滋病恐懼侵襲下兩大家庭與母親開始蛻變,連珠炮罵人不嘴軟氣勢凌駕白人之上的母親始祖Elektra艾麗卡 (多明尼克傑克森)締造財富王國; 善良堅毅的第二代母親Blanca布蘭卡 (MJ羅德里格斯)愛情順遂子女成材,兩位演母親的黑人跨性別女演員都出色,尤其是今年終於贏得艾美獎女主角提名的MJ羅德里格斯,真想讓人鼓掌叫好。
家族最後一場舞會競演,MJ羅德里格斯與比利波特 (今年再度提名艾美視帝)聯手演出對嘴變裝秀,向黑人女歌神黛安娜蘿絲經典靈魂曲「愛比山高Ain't no mountain high enough」致敬,也唱出這個歷經苦樂起伏的LGBT家族之愛; 以及試驗愛滋新藥露出生命曙光其實另有隱情的比利波特卸妝換上絲質睡袍翩然迎接死亡,都看到讓人熱淚盈眶。
「被奪走的那種自由、還是從沒體會過的自由,那種更糟糕? 」這是劇中角色砥礪勇敢追求愛與人生,很重要的一句對白,看完「艷放80」最大收獲會對LGBT族群有不帶偏見的認知與看法。

The first step is to identify your energy 🙌🏻 - what are you feeling at the moment? Are you angry? Anxious? Content?
Even though the emotions are placed in three different energy levels, it is not unusual to feel few emotions from other groups. If you identify with this, you may want to implement the type of activity that fits what you are feeling.
These are some of the activities that proved to be helpful 👇🏻
High energy: This is a simple breathing exercise you can try anywhere. Breath quietly through the nose for 4 seconds. Hold your breath for 7 seconds. Exhale forcefully through the mouth, pursing the lips and making a “whoosh” sound for 8 seconds. Start with four cycles to feel the effects, though you should do no more than eight reps in one sitting.
Grounded: Study a photograph, perhaps the photo at the top of this post. Close your eyes and try to recreate it in your mind. When you’ve got it, challenge yourself to add in other senses. What sounds are you hearing? What smells? And what feeling does the image evoke?
Low energy: Yoga is one such way to increase physical activity and combat fatigue. Most yoga asanas do not require special equipment and can be quickly done at home, provided an experienced yoga instructor oversees your practice. Three Yoga poses that successfully help with this is: Bhujangasana (cobra pose), Dhanurasana (bow pose), Tadasana (mountain pose).
However, I highly encourage you to research a little more to find the suitable one for you. I also want to add that if you are feeling high or low energy, please don't be too hard on yourself. We are figuring out life; hence it is not out of the ordinary to feel in a certain way. As long you are willing to take care of yourself, you are doing great 🌻💖

Tadasana/Mountain pose
~ adding fun: close your eyes ? and try not to wobble
Downward facing dog
~ adding fun: walking the dog ?(alternate heels up)
Plank
~ adding fun: forearm plank and rock front and back
Triangle
~ adding fun: close your eyes ? and try not to wobble
Tree
~ adding fun: close your eyes ? and try not to wobble
Warrior 1
~ adding fun: adding a mini back bend with cactus ? arms
Warrior 2
~ adding fun: core work - shift the upper body front and back, no change in the lower body
Seated forward fold
Bridge
~ adding fun: push hips higher, come up and down
Child’s pose
~adding fun: move side to side and place forehead down and massage the forehead by rolling the head side to side
In no particular order, these postures are great for a restorative, awareness, engaged muscles poses.
